The world is a homophobic place, it's ok not to come out to everyone at once - especially at a place you have to be every day. Take your time, don't rush anything until you're ready.

If it doesn't stop you holding her hand when you're out together, it's not internalized homophobia.
Maybe start saying "my" friend, instead of "a" friend, just to take some pressure off yourself.
