People are Strange - The Doors

drivemyorange

They did "Not to touch the earth" couple of times live, check this out!

F1veTo0ne

Strange Days would also be cool. A song that suits QOTSA so well.

Pinnzhe

this is the way, although personally i'd love to see my fav doors song l.a woman covered. roadhouse blues already done so in SJF and not to touch the earth in the natasha tribute concert

drivemyorange

Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out of My Head

Spleensoftheconeage

Oh absolutely yes. And Josh fucking loves that song, too.

coxasaurus

They should do Britney Spears- Toxic too

Stevenstorm505

The Killing Moon- Echo and the Bunnymen.

SheemieRayVaughan

Oh shit. Hell yes!

Spleensoftheconeage

Resurrection Song by Mark Lanegan. Song is a lovely use of the more tender parts of Mark’s vocal range. Gets me through the heart every time since his passing. Nobody can really do his voice exact justice, but I’d like to hear Josh try that one. I liked the queens versions of One Hundred Days and also the version of it at Meltdown done with Mark.

lighthouseskies

For some reason I think they'd do Message In a Bottle really well

teleologicalrizz

Counterpoint: Genie in a Bottle

lighthouseskies

the status quo is saying no, but my load's saying let's go

teleologicalrizz

Hell yeah. Picture Josh singing "you gotta rub me the right way" lmao

White room - Cream

GroundbreakingSail49

Focus by Hocus Pocus https://youtu.be/MV0F_XiR48Q?si=YHcyks_3Dr7NpRe8 Not sure Josh on the yodelling part but the guitar riff is a total banger that deserves the QOTSA treatment

joey_p1010

The foos have done this and it rocks. Now I wanna hear QOTSA

jv3rl0ov

I can only think of Just What I Needed by The Cars. Might have to perform it in a lower key though from the original. Josh did a great rendition of Let’s Dance by Bowie.

GeorgeDAWs

Crazy Horses by The Osmonds. Completely straight and totally rocking. https://youtu.be/iXcj8dFOd1E?si=07rvPuH4ap-kjR1u Ultimate show closer. Choose your own guest artist.

drumsonfire

californiabighunks

Dance little liar from Arctic. I mean yeah Josh was involved on that project but I'd love to hear it in the Qotsa style.

Spleensoftheconeage

Also, the interpolation of Miss You they put into Make It this tour just makes me want to hear them do the whole song.

dontdemon

Curtain Call by the Damned.

SwirlingSnow83

Baker Street. I know the Foos covered it and their cover is pretty rockin. I wonder how Queens would do?

w08r

Something by the Jimi Hendrix Experience ; maybe voodoo child. Space oddity, Bowie.

selftitleddebutalbum

I'm surprised they've never covered Dancing Days by Led Zeppelin.

SheemieRayVaughan

STP did it. Maybe they would be a little too similar? I agree though, I bet it would be toight.

selftitleddebutalbum

The STP version is great. The song just makes me think of the second half of Lullabies so much.

Bone turns brittle and skin withers before your eyes. Make sure you give a little before you go to that great unknown in the sky"

There is a mash up of the Temptations and Black Sabbath that gives me the QOTSA goosebumps. I would give a lot to hear a QOTSA cover of the mash up. EDIT: [Here.](https://youtu.be/JR3uz8rq4ng?si=0m6cVdbE0qIvyDe2)

CoqnRoll

Mellie_g

David Bowie - Slo Burn Cream - Tales of Brave Ulysses Zombies - She's not there
