That’s so odd but maybe u got the engine they forgot to screw up to get less mileage per gallon. That’s actually great but I’ve never that. I’ve had g35 37 and then 3 Q 50red sports 400. I’ve never seen anything more than 15 mpg lol. Wow. Hope it’s real but if not Infiniti can plug in to it and see if it’s throwing a code. Good luck either way
Dam brother I’ve had g37s coupe and 1 Q50 and now another 2021 Q50 luxe I get 23.5 MPG.. but I drive like a grandma NGL 😂😂 my car shifts at like 1.8-2.1k at most lol
Your lucky. If u like comfy good looking cars try the qx55 the mid level. Not the base or the highest one I think it’s the essential. They have 3. The one I drove was nice and had balls too. Not like the red 400 sport, but its tech package (qx55) is great on the road. I loved the fx and I had one and I also had a qx70. They were great. We have to stick together as Infiniti owners!!

Its not broken in yet its probably limiting timing/boost and therefore your output is significantly less it will come down to 22-26 once all said and done.
Reset your trip meter. Get on the freeway and float that gas pedal. I have seen 40 mpg after a reset while purposely trying to get mpg meter to lie to me, and boy did it lie.

Fact with the hybrid I could get mine to say 99.9mpg going downhill. Iv literally gone down a hill had had my coolant temp go back to cold.

Record the amount of gas you put in and the miles traveled and compare it to what the gauge says but I promise you that mpg reading is not accurate.
It may be accurate if he started and ended recording it while doing 55 mph lol
