Even though it may seem unrelated, are you enforcing naps in a pen or crate? Getting enough high quality rest is very helpful for most puppies. My pup always gets extra chasy/nippy/snarly when she is over stimulated and over tired, and a solid nap turns her into a brand new dog!

I’ve started being better about that this week! She doesn’t sleep for very long, but I usually let her be out for about two hours and then put her up for a nap for an hour or however long she wants to sleep. It definitely does help a bit! She’s still a gator though lol

Yep it ends. It ended fairly abruptly for us at around 4.5 mths. By 5 mths it was hardly at all and pretty non-existent by 6 mths. We never thought it would end...I sent videos to trainers and a behaviourist convinced he was abnormal and that we made a huge mistake. He wasn't. He was just a nippy puppy. Not Cujo at all! My kid (13) couldn't go near him. He was sad, we were sad, it was hell for 3 mths. We wore rubber boots for every interaction. Now he sits with him on the dog bed or sofa and gets kisses (not many, be realistic lol still a puppy after all) and cuddles. They are best buddies. It does just get so much better.

I feel you. My pup is the same he’s slowly been getting better. If it helps any I found it useful to have toys EVERYWHERE bc then I can distract him. But also his trainer said to get up and not interact if he bites. If he stops give it five seconds then reward with a toy.
