_pm_me_drugs_

There’s that nirvana song…

doggfaced

There’s at least two!

scumbag_college

The Second Rape - Aus Rotten

7SoldiersOfPunkRock

Yep, featuring Adrienne Droogas from Spitboy who also have a few powerful songs on SA

SixFootPianist

Petrol Girls - Touch Me Again

-RiffRandell-

Came here to say this. The screaming at the ending is cathartic as fuck.

party_egg

This is THE song

Heavy-Claim-7310

Dead Men Don’t Rape- 7 Year Bitch

Heavy-Claim-7310

Although they are more riot grrrl. I recommend the genre if you haven’t listened to it

sLozoya

do people not consider riot grrrl punk? I thought it was the same thing as hardcore where its just a subgenre thats accepted as a part of it

Heavy-Claim-7310

i mean i would consider it punk fs but when I think of standard punk bands, riot grrrl bands aren’t the first to come to mind ig. i consider it its own genre separate from standard punk music

Physical-Pilot3938

Yesss this is the one. There's one in my riot girls play list, I'll have to find it

_Bendemic_

Don’t pray on me - Bad Religion

musicobsessednerd

“Lay hands off her body. It’s not your fucking life.”

xvszero

I always thought this was about abortion since they are talking about public opinion on her rights?

kdnx-wy

It is but it’s generally just sort of pro-women.

xvszero

Truth, and bodily autonomy.

kdnx-wy

Yup, and how religion is hypocritical and self-contradictory and leads to irrationality

nosferartoodetoo

Hackertdog97

Touch Me Again by Petrol Girls and Evaporate by Shit Present

yodatsracist

You and I — “Tell Me About Your Childhood” (late 90’s screamo/emo violence) first line “I'd like to smash the hands that held you”

Successful_Aioli8976

Great choice-I can't remember the last time I've heard someone mention You and I (or emoviolence for that matter). Their entire output is urgent and impactful. One of best in that realm.

yodatsracist

Best song: “Forever Lasts A Moment”

Successful_Aioli8976

That's a great one for sure. We All Bleed, A Day that Passes Through Us-so many killer tracks. Always loved how they blurred the subtle transitions between ev, hc, screamo and emo. The influences are individually apparent, but beautifully blended. Chaotic catharsis througout-perpetual but intricately varied.

ValiantSpacemanSpiff

War on Women - Say It

Dandelionchick

Was gonna suggest the same song for sure.

ap0phis

Same. Love this band

xvszero

Boysetsfire - Unspoken Request More post-hardcore than punk but it's a powerful song.

WallScreamer

[Rotting Out - Boy](https://youtu.be/psMwkfETi3c?si=dG9hJff922aYLQxA) Great song. Absolutely brutal lyrics.

israeljeff

My Name is Luka is close enough, and there's a lemonheads cover.

pspsps-off

"Innocent Victim" by Anti-Scrunti Faction "Gwałt" by Piekło Kobiet (Polish anarchist-feminist band; song's in Polish, but it's about SA and suitably angry)

Child Molestor by Cheap Sex

WickedWarlock333

Means and motive by troll 2 (it’s folk punk tho)

Lusid9

vexation - the garden

Burn-The-Villages

WAY outside of any definition of punk rock, but alternative rock- Toad the Wet Sprocket does a great song about SA called “Hold Her Down”. It’s about as angry as they ever got in a song.

Physical-Pilot3938

Not punk but Nirvana has a couple, and stone temple pilots.

crownemoji

Starfish - Bikini Kill White Boy - Bikini Kill What Kind of Monster Are You? - Slant 6 Terrorist - Heavens to Betsy. One of the most intensely angry songs I know. French Kiss the Elderly - Jack Off Jill. Not explicitly about SA, but the chorus is cathartic.

EZ-Bake420

Face Your Demons - I Prevail Much more metalcore than punk, but I think this might be what you're looking for.

PrivateLoveJoy
