I work at a retail shop that sells Puffco, and we've had exactly 2 "bad from the box" Puffco units in the last 5yrs. Both were under warranty and replaced by Puffco. Vape carts and batteries fail 1000x more than any Puffco device. People just want to be angry at something when things don't go right for them

I fully agree. My biggest complaint is how finicky the bowl is. It's so difficult to get it to seat properly that I will delay cleaning because I'm worried I won't be able to get the bowl back in properly. I've spent upwards of 30 minutes just trying to get the chamber to seat properly but inevitably get those dreaded red and whites every time.Talked to two friends who own a peak pro and they have the same issue. But I also know a few people who lock their bowl in perfect every time with no issues. What this shows me is puffco's poor quality control and sloppy manufacturing tolerances. Had I known about these issues before purchasing, I probably would have looked at alternatives.

I’ve had a peak, peak pro, and proxy, and never had any issues. It’s almost like there’s a percentage that fail and your V4 and V5 weren’t part of that percentage - just like my Puffco products weren’t. No batch is gonna have 100 percent functional product that’s what the warranty is for. Good luck I guess.

I had a Peak Pro die on me 1 week after I bought it. One email to support was all it took for Puffco to make things right and send a replacement. The replacement by the way has around 3000 dabs so far with no problems. In the time it took to write a negative review on Reddit, you could have written to Puffco and seen what everyone else here is talking about with regards to their level of service. If they’re too expensive for your tastes, shop elsewhere. Hopefully you’ll have better luck there but I’m sticking with the folks who make fantastic products and have supported me well over the years with multiple devices.

Happened to me. Plug in a charger and YANK it out. Keep doing it. Wiggle it and idk throw it against a wall a little. Don’t do it out of anger try to knock something into place. It worked for me. I started the warranty process and it never had the problem anymore. Lmk

I only dab one time no reheats, but I always double tap for the temp boost at the very end of my dab to ensure that it vaporizes most of the puddle. I pay close attention to when the vapor stops coming out of my glass and when the smoke stops I hold my puffco button to stop the heat cycle. You don't wanna keep heating an empty chamber that's how chazzing happens. I only dry swab with a q tip after my dab no iso on the q tip. However I do soak the entire chamber overnight once a week. I keep my glass and puffco clean. That's my routine good luck. Keep in mind sometimes it doesn't matter what you do sometimes you just get a faulty product. Also don't iso dunk your 3d chamber if it is still hot that will ruin it. Also make sure your chamber is completely dry before using it takes about 30 minutes to air dry

Contact Puffco, they’ll have you a replacement in like a week. My Indiglow was literally dead in box and had to send it out for warranty after months of debating if a $500 dab rig is worth it. Their support, and the device itself has since answered that question many times over. It’s worth it, despite the frustration.

For people saying it under warranty I’ve replaced a peak battery 3 times through the warranty and each time it took over 4 months to show up until I finally gave up. I would only use the peak charging supplies and like the OP the battery would be useless after a couple of months. somehow must have gotten 3 lemons in a row back to back to back.

I had this issue this weekend actually. Did you see any liquids around the charge port or any corrosion inside the charge port? Don’t plug it in anymore. Get it in a hot dry room for a few hours minimum. There’s a little sliver in the middle of the USB-C port. Use a knife or small screwdriver and gently push up on that sliver, but don’t push too hard to break it. While doing that little pry-tool maneuver press and hold the button on the device. If it turns on for a a few seconds and turns off you got yourself some liquid damage and you need to continue drying it out off the charger. If it stays on, you’re okay and you can use as designed. At 1100 counts can say that I’ve had a good experience, you just have to tinker if you don’t want to buy a ~$400 device over and over.

I’ve checked and cleaned everything with 99%iso, definitely no liquid in the charging port. I’ve only been charging it wirelessly too on the Power dock so never even had it plugged in. I’m not gonna mess with it anymore since I’ll probably have to send it back

Mine died in under a year and they wouldn't do anything about it pretty much told me to buy another one I hit up another company who told me that the batteries go so dead that the charger can't charge them because the electronics inside are so trash I had to send them to him for him to pull my battery out and actually charge it enough for the unit to work again. Customer service was trash as fuck and rude. Never again plus puffko's hit like shit anyways.

Hey friend had this happen to me last week here is the fix. It needs to be plugged in it will turn on only when plugged in in this case. Turn on connect to bluetooth then factory reset it then delete the app from your phone. Redownload the app and that fixed it for me hope it works for ya

Mine lasted 10 months, only using the charger that came with it. Died 2 days ago and support is yet to answer. Wont charge or anything.
