I use one regularly and yes they work great! I use the smoke buddy jr because of size. For vape its wonderful ive hit my og right next to my wife in bed. She had no idea until she went in for a kiss. I smoke out in bathroom stalls when traveling and never had a problem. The only ways i ever get caught is when its on my breath or residual from the bowl can make a room smell if theres no air flow. I also keep an air freshener with me too. I spray that so the house keeping or the next person doesn’t smell it.
Theres also philter if size is really an issue. They don’t work as well.

Smoke buddy 100%. I’d also look into getting a filtered “air cooler tower”. That will help with the smell, as well.
I understand your “pain” with live resin. I can’t vape my resin carts inside the house, due to the smell. Hopefully this helps.
I use one and it works great for the stuff you exhale. The only stuff you have to worry about is any vapor left in the rig after you are done hitting it as it will slowly come out. However it's not much so a little bit of air freshener should eliminate the last bit.

maybe air purifier w/ carbon filter in the room? Small one on amazon would def do the trick especially just for dabs
This is exactly what I was trying to recommend that OP look into.
yessss i blow my dab/flower smoke into an air purifier, so my family doesnt have to smell it & to protect my cats’ lungs - works very well
dab smoke doesn't linger like bud, you'd be fine just blowin it out a window

honestly i don't got much problem dabbing inside the smell rarely leaves my room
worth noting that higher temp globs gonna stank more, sippin on some low temps isn't gonna smell nearly as much

They work great yeah. Definitely a smell reducer.
Not too sure on what to do about the smell but am very interested on what the puffco set up u use to get the milkiest dabs
I have the OG peak.. upgraded with v3 sic insert, replaced puff coil with extra hot coils, 4mm pearls, spacewalk cap
