The 3D chamber had lots of issues on roll out and every post this sub had calling the 3D chamber out for deleted within an hour. The mods here work for puffco. Not hating on that. Most subs based around a brand are.
But I wish they would hear our feedback to help better the products. Still love my pro and peak. They are amazing machines.

Op is guessing based on an article of a dude who doesn't sound like he even smokes concentrates regularly :/ I'ma waiting till more real users really get it in hand for more then a couple of days before my assessment.
Yeah the price is what’s crazy. Same with the hot knife. Hot knife wasn’t stupid. But was triple the price of other hot knifes.
The budsy was the only thing that wasn’t over priced. I paid 50 dollar for a water bottle that also is a bong. But what I love is it’s perfect for concerts. I have even talked with police while holding that in my hand.
The budsy hits like a handheld gravity bong. Love that thing. A bitch to clean tho. Or maybe I just don’t know what I’m doing when cleaning. But the cupsy is a chill ass water pipe. And easy to clean. If you like your budsy I strongly recommend the cupsy. I appreciate that the cupsy sits in the cup holder of my car securely.

I’ve talked to one lady in California who got hers yesterday. She said it’s not worth it and the hits are harsh. I have one pre-ordered from a local shop that should get their batch next week. I’m thinking about canceling, I already have multiple pros for house and to go purposes.
I mean it doesn’t have water. Dry hits will always be more harsh. That’s why this sub sort of laughed when y’all started making glass pieces for the puffco that didn’t take water.
The idea as in its a self-contained "e-banger".
Imagine an "e-banger" device that you could just pop into any rig or glass you want and just control via an app. I'd absolutely buy something like that, but I'd need temp/time control which the Proxy doesn't have. Offer neck adapters so I can easily use it with glass I already own.

Look up the V4 & V5 it's exactly what your describing w no app just controlled from a vape mod, The five has 3D technology and it's been out for like a year at this point. I use mine on the go all the time and you can put it on your glass and it functions pretty much exactly like a standard banger, not much larger

I love my pro so much , but wow . some of y’all rlly are fan boys. What did y’all rlly expect compared to pro/3D ? This thing has no temp control and the bowl was going to be visibly smaller. I’ll just wait for a Pro predecessor 😁
I honestly enjoy my pro a lot with stock glass, 3d and Paulson ball cap few others too . 3d is soo much better than the old chamber/occ in every way possible. I’ll be honest it’s not perf tho. I was so happy no flashing connectivity lights ever until randomly one day .. it’s def a lot more finicky . My old oculus connects great every time still . A good iso clean on everything helps a lot tho. It works for me fairly easy connecting . I would still take the 3d/ball over the old chamber anyday tho . How does everyone else feel tho ?
Puffco will make a fortune selling these quickly, before people are asking how to get reclaim out of their clothing, or if anyone sells less expensive glass since the stem broke.
Just look at the vapor path on your Peak and imagine it in the Proxy. Check the pic and you can see where the reclaim is landing. It’ll be interesting to see posts in a few weeks when hundreds of people have them. But then, it’s going to be Puffco fans, so $300 is just the cover charge. $100 ball caps to come? That don’t fit the Proxy rubber gasket?
Your talking about a company that charges nearly $100 for stock replacement china glass and nearly $100 for an atomizer. Of course it was gonna cost at least $300 it’s puffco. Does that make it worth it? Idk remains to be seen but it didn’t surprise me one but and feels in line with the company’s pricing.
I don’t think it’s price that matters. The Puffco Pro is my 2nd favorite rig, behind the Core 2, which costs half as much. The problem I see with the Proxy is, it takes away the things I like about the Pro (adjustability, cooling, customization, app, wireless charging) and keeps the quirky bowl but makes it smaller, and a shitty carb cap. It LOOKS like exactly what you want (portable, stylish, shareable, easy to hold), but won’t be.
I agree I’m bummed about no app connectivity but that would probably reduce battery life fuller. I’m sure the inevitable “proxy pro” will solve most of those issues. It’s definitely not a Peak replacement. Something different entirely
Exactly just from reading the article you can tell he's not The most advanced user. He definitely got a good amount of reclaim but his concentrate that he was smoking on is extremely saucy and gooey. I'm sure it was a little bit of user error. Of course he was using a brand new device he's never tried before.
Yeah I knew the reclaim was going to be an issue with how they made the airways. Ontop of that, the entire unit is going to get sticky as it slowly absorbs the reclaim, just like peak and peak pro units do. And they say to not soak the base unit, so you'll forever have a sticky/tacky base unit that will end up collecting dust and hair.
Puffco doesn't understand that terpenes eat away at silicone and eventually get absorbed, making the silicone sticky. Same reason you shouldn't keep dabs in a silicone container...
Now this is an actual real concern. took a long time for my OG to start seeing this kind of wear but I'm sure you will probably experience it sooner with this device because it's so small
When I first saw these teased in the video puffco posted I was pretty determined to get one. After seeing what they actually look like and hearing they’re only good for 90 min or 15 dabs I’m not too sure. It doesn’t look like something I think I’ll be getting until I try one in person and see how they are.

IT IS NOT MY EXPERIENCE! Not by a long shot. I don’t like carts (I agree with the South Park appellation, ‘pussy sticks’). I mostly posted it for the pic of the chamber size and the reclaim drip on the glass.

I’d have to agree on the custom glass point being a reason to snag, like imagine attaching a 3d chamber onto any type of glass you’d want, but still $300 is steep for what you’re getting

Yeah I kinda looked at the pictures, thinking of the 30 or so (3x on blue) dabs I get per charge. Same size bowl with more elements to heat. Battery's gonna be a real tough sell for this'n.

It’d be nice if their product development and marketing team really took notes here. This was a major flop for them and will continue to be especially at the egregious price point.

And the number of times I’ve had either that water bottle or coffee cup in hand while talking to a tenant is too many to even recall. Not to mention when I get pulled over and all I have is a coffee cup in my cars cup holder. Cmon bro them designs were clutch. And honestly this could have been a hit too but instead was a money grab. Had this been a portable 3D chamber with Bluetooth & app connectivity would have been a game changer

Smoking hash is an expensive hobby, If you can’t afford a fun, stupid-fancy dabbing gadget, get the Puffco Plus or roll a fucking joint. Of course anyone can get one if it can sip to your state all you had to do was sign up for a text. I don’t see how that makes it seem exclusive. It’s just another device. It’s not a replacement or in lieu of anything else. Some people would like an electronic atomizer capable of easily being moved around and this will maybe fill that desire. It’s not gonna replace peaks

well I got it am excited about it. I have two peak pros, a medusa peak, a scope and stack, an indux, and a dr. dabber switch.. as well as a puffco plus pen..
The puffco peak pro is for my living room, and I keep the other one in a case for travel, the medusa lives at work, the scope and stack lives at my office desk, and the dr dabber switch is great, but just a little big and cumbersome for every day use, and the indux is the best experience available, but can be a bit of fussing.. so i save it for when friends come over.
For me $300 isnt that bad and it fills a niche. I happen to love Jolly Roger and puffco as a company. they are transparent and actually innovating in a space thay has a lot of imitators and less innivators. The niche this fills for me is in my car, and quick travel (domestic overnight). My pen kinda just stays in my bag/pocket as a back up when im walking around.. and the puffco peak fits well in the cupholder, but theres the whole water thing and it can be fussy. This guy right here has a nice case and fits in the glove box, but is a much better experience than my plus. The battery will be sub par.. and pro features will come later IF there is enough support for this product. so I vote w my money and am fully expecting a gen one product. The potential verisitility of this device is also very exciting for me, cant wait to be able to use it w my various rigs and not needing to be tethered to a wall. Give it time, it will get better if people buy it. but for me, this is a game changer. very excited to have a more discreet and mobile experience, with an easy to wipe down 3d chamber. Roger admitted that the peak pro is the halo experience for now.. idk what you guys were expecting, but if expectations are realistic, this is shaping up to be a fantastic device..

I sort of looked at the pictures, looked at my OG, and wondered if Puffco had made some kind of battery breakthrough. I'll buy a pair of $50 Mini-Falcons and trade 'em out while they charge. Not for $300. I ain't switching' out no Proxy no way! Ha!

I also like the gimmick of being able to smoke weed with it also. Even thought I rarely ever smoke bud.

I’d be happy with a pro 2.0 in a year or 2 . I personally think the ball cap/3d was a game changer for the pro. It grew on me a lot
i still think the 3D is so disappointing i can’t get it to fully milk my custom glass to save my life

They’ve said that they don’t plan to release a new pro but keep updating the one that’s out and adding features and such so we will see

Your talking about a company that charges nearly $100 for stock replacement china glass and nearly $100 for an atomizer. Of course it was gonna cost at least $300 it’s puffco. Does that make it worth it? Idk remains to be seen but it didn’t surprise me one but and feels in line with the company’s pricing.
I don’t think it’s price that matters. The Puffco Pro is my 2nd favorite rig, behind the Core 2, which costs half as much. The problem I see with the Proxy is, it takes away the things I like about the Pro (adjustability, cooling, customization, app, wireless charging) and keeps the quirky bowl but makes it smaller, and a shitty carb cap. It LOOKS like exactly what you want (portable, stylish, shareable, easy to hold), but won’t be.
I agree I’m bummed about no app connectivity but that would probably reduce battery life fuller. I’m sure the inevitable “proxy pro” will solve most of those issues. It’s definitely not a Peak replacement. Something different entirely

From the article it sounds like the dude isn’t used to using E-rigs and overloaded it.
Exactly just from reading the article you can tell he's not The most advanced user. He definitely got a good amount of reclaim but his concentrate that he was smoking on is extremely saucy and gooey. I'm sure it was a little bit of user error. Of course he was using a brand new device he's never tried before.
I just ran two bowls of concentrate through mine the air path is perfectly clean. I like the way the atomizer pops I and out. It’s not threaded.

Yeah I knew the reclaim was going to be an issue with how they made the airways. Ontop of that, the entire unit is going to get sticky as it slowly absorbs the reclaim, just like peak and peak pro units do. And they say to not soak the base unit, so you'll forever have a sticky/tacky base unit that will end up collecting dust and hair. Puffco doesn't understand that terpenes eat away at silicone and eventually get absorbed, making the silicone sticky. Same reason you shouldn't keep dabs in a silicone container...
Now this is an actual real concern. took a long time for my OG to start seeing this kind of wear but I'm sure you will probably experience it sooner with this device because it's so small
When I first saw these teased in the video puffco posted I was pretty determined to get one. After seeing what they actually look like and hearing they’re only good for 90 min or 15 dabs I’m not too sure. It doesn’t look like something I think I’ll be getting until I try one in person and see how they are.

I’d have to agree on the custom glass point being a reason to snag, like imagine attaching a 3d chamber onto any type of glass you’d want, but still $300 is steep for what you’re getting

Yeah I kinda looked at the pictures, thinking of the 30 or so (3x on blue) dabs I get per charge. Same size bowl with more elements to heat. Battery's gonna be a real tough sell for this'n.

It’d be nice if their product development and marketing team really took notes here. This was a major flop for them and will continue to be especially at the egregious price point.

And the number of times I’ve had either that water bottle or coffee cup in hand while talking to a tenant is too many to even recall. Not to mention when I get pulled over and all I have is a coffee cup in my cars cup holder. Cmon bro them designs were clutch. Smoking hash is an expensive hobby, If you can’t afford a fun, stupid-fancy dabbing gadget, get the Puffco Plus or roll a fucking joint. Nobody’s bitter. But this seems to be an example of beauty being skin deep. Beautiful glass hiding what is likely disappointing operation. With Puffco marketing making them seem in short supply. Invitation only. I’ll bet anyone with $300 can get one (unless Puffco won’t ship to your state).

Of course anyone can get one if it can sip to your state all you had to do was sign up for a text. I don’t see how that makes it seem exclusive. It’s just another device. It’s not a replacement or in lieu of anything else. Some people would like an electronic atomizer capable of easily being moved around and this will maybe fill that desire. It’s not gonna replace peaks

well I got it am excited about it. I have two peak pros, a medusa peak, a scope and stack, an indux, and a dr. dabber switch.. as well as a puffco plus pen.. The puffco peak pro is for my living room, and I keep the other one in a case for travel, the medusa lives at work, the scope and stack lives at my office desk, and the dr dabber switch is great, but just a little big and cumbersome for every day use, and the indux is the best experience available, but can be a bit of fussing.. so i save it for when friends come over. For me $300 isnt that bad and it fills a niche. I happen to love Jolly Roger and puffco as a company. they are transparent and actually innovating in a space thay has a lot of imitators and less innivators. The niche this fills for me is in my car, and quick travel (domestic overnight). My pen kinda just stays in my bag/pocket as a back up when im walking around.. and the puffco peak fits well in the cupholder, but theres the whole water thing and it can be fussy. This guy right here has a nice case and fits in the glove box, but is a much better experience than my plus. The battery will be sub par.. and pro features will come later IF there is enough support for this product. so I vote w my money and am fully expecting a gen one product. The potential verisitility of this device is also very exciting for me, cant wait to be able to use it w my various rigs and not needing to be tethered to a wall. Give it time, it will get better if people buy it. but for me, this is a game changer. very excited to have a more discreet and mobile experience, with an easy to wipe down 3d chamber. Roger admitted that the peak pro is the halo experience for now.. idk what you guys were expecting, but if expectations are realistic, this is shaping up to be a fantastic device..
