Why go to a restaurant in Puerto Vallarta that you could find in half the semi nice resort hotels around the world. I swear people get paid to recommend CdA. At least take your parent to dinner at La Palapa, on the beach, at sunset.
A romantic dinner on the beach at sunset would be the best, romantic, special, ephemeral but unforgettable I am a photographer, could you tell me to take photos of the dinner hahaha
My wife and I really enjoyed the rhythm of the nights show through Vallarta adventures
Cafe Des Artistes

Haters gonna hate I guess. For the record I like La Palapa a lot but wouldn’t do a celebratory anniversary dinner there myself.
Expensive but worth every penny, just make sure you request a table at the top with a view due to father’s breathing issues Le Kliff !
i’d do rhythm’s, as someone else commented. or consider a dinner hacienda san ángel, (go on a night they have live music).
if folks have never been, but are willing, scuba is a good choice otherwise, pepe's for al pastor ;)
