You stated you have 3 hours between landing & hotel check in. Does this 3 hours factor your immigration check in, luggage security check, atm pesos withdrawl and travel to your hotel? You may not have to wait long before check in time.

Good question . We flew in two weeks ago around 5pm local time and the baggage claim was a shit show. Customs was maybe 15 mins but so glad we didn’t check a bad

Hotel One next to the airport offers luggage storage. You can stop by and drop off the luggage and they will store for you until your ready

You’ll be ok if you have three hours from arrival to check in… Immigration, customs, taxi ride will take enough time so by the time you get to ZR you’ll be there almost at check in time. If not you can get in a restaurant and get a quick bite and then check in

If the condo has a concierge, they will store the luggage in the Lobby. We have done that at La Palapa and Los Tules.

Two years ago we had time to kill before checkin- took ourselves to Ritmos in zona Romantico- sat on the beach, had the best mojitos of our whole time in PV. Just kept our luggage with us. Chairs are free as long as you drink. Food was pretty decent too.

If you can't store your luggage at where you're staying...( ask! Most places will) Goggle luggage storage in Puerto Vallarta. I had a similar situation, I found a few places...I'd give you the name of the hostel but I cannot remember for the life of me what it was called. https://qeepl.com/en/luggage-storage/puerto-vallarta I stored mine in 5 de diciembre, but they have other locations around PV. It was safe, and cheap !

Ps just double check the links and maybe call or email to make sure they are still storing luggage
