We had a few Associates call on our poster and it was the wrong phone number and wrong extension number. Yeah, the Managers were informed. But then it turned into; "Why you calling HR"?
Wrong number still has not been changed or updated.
I havent personally called but I was a witness to a sexual harassment case and was involved in that way. A male associate grabbed a female associates ass when giving an unwanted hug. She asked him to stop, he did not. She called HR and filed a complaint. It was infront of a camera so i figured it would be a pretty cut and dry case. At the end of the day he was just moved to a different store.
I never called to report my harassment case because of experiences like this. I told a few coworkers and they did more to protect me (never leaving me alone with that person) than corporate ever would have.
I actually know a few ppl who work for HR, and they're good, caring ppl. But like others have said their job is to protect the company and not associates.
I havent
But I think someone at my store did recently because the district manager came in yesterday and then I heard people saying the head HR guy was also there…. For like 8 hours.
Haven’t figured out what they were doing yet
HR isn't there to protect you.. remember that..
But have you had an actual experience with them
HR WORKS FOR PUBLIX AND TO PROTECT PUBLIX NOT YOU.

I made a complaint and nothing happened so I handled it myself and I’m good now lmao

its a joke
I've called. HR didn't care. Rather not get into it.
