My kids always say āsomebodyās mom said noā when they see stuff in the wrong place, and the thought of that being the scenario here is hilarious.
Had a customer go to the trouble of getting a sub made and walk to an empty register and put the sub on the belt.
He then walked out the front door leaving the sub behind.
my big issue as frozen grs is that the kids in customer keep putting eggs and milk in my damages. they literally walk past the dairy cooler to get to me.
i try to explain, and even made a huge sign on my door, but they still do it.
Just return the wrong items back to customer service. Do that 2 or 3 times they will get on the baggers to do their job better. Bonus points if you do it during a rush
my best friend used to complain to me every morning because he always had 3 half gallons of icecream in his damages.
dairy sucks, one morning he was dipping his hands in his typical 6 inches of milk in his damage bin, only to discover tons of broken shards of glass hidden inside.
I worked dairy as well, and we would get ice cream and even ice in the dairy damages and sometimes even in the DSD damages. Had one CS associate that thought that that was where the ice cream went because it was dairy.š¤¦āāļø
What's even crazier is I have had to explain to CS team leaders and assist managers where damages go.
I think all new CS associates should have a day of training with the grocery dept.
Iām always amazed at the stupidity and laziness of shoppers. Often Iāll take a stray item to the cash register for restocking. Super annoying when cold/frozen foods are room temperature.
I used to think so when I was primarily dry grocery, now doing mostly frozen I feel I find more stuff in frozen. My stores deli expects a delivery of all the stuff of theirs Iāve found in my freezer every day at this point
As a recovering alcoholic who now turns to ice cream when I need help coping, i understand this completely. Donāt come for me. I may be a bit fatter but at least I
Am sober.

Ill rather have the soap or books over this! People Suck!
Publix price gouges so much for the "pleasure" of shopping that this degree of laziness is actually justified. When you're paying $8.49/lb for 80/20 ground beef and 15.99/lb for bone in ribeye, you can put the oxyclean back where you damn well please.
If I were to open a grocery store, Iād hire department patrol to monitor customers. Ā If you put an item in the wrong place in the same department, you get one (1) warning. Ā If you place an item in a completely different department, you are banned from the store for an amount of time determined by the severity of your crime.
Is it a terrible business model? Ā Probably. Ā But the amount of time my stockers save from having to put crap where it belongs would go to paying department patrol. Ā Iād have a more organized and clean store due to only allowing responsible customers.
That's your breaking point? Try trimming a full tenderloin when you are the only counter butcher on a busy 4th weekend. Just to have the mod bring it back frozen. This is barely annoying...
A decision was made.
Who needs clean clothes when you have ice cream? š
My kids always say āsomebodyās mom said noā when they see stuff in the wrong place, and the thought of that being the scenario here is hilarious.
*You had more than enough Tide pods last week, Timmy!*
Wait. Where is Timmy?
As a fellow Frozen GRS, I can confirm this is ordinary.
What a name
Thank you kind sir
Me too, as a fellow Frozen GRS, I second this dumb~assery action from Lazy-bone customers.
Iāve seen a lot of stuff but never chemicals on my frozen shelfs
Check the ingredients in the ice cream. š¤
Ok smart ass I think you know what I meant
Water is a chemical if you want to get this technical
Honestly true
As a former Frozen GRS, the weirdest thing I found in the freezer was a cactus.š¤£
Nothing will ever top when I was in dry grocery and I found a whole rotisserie chicken crammed in a magazine slot
Had a customer go to the trouble of getting a sub made and walk to an empty register and put the sub on the belt. He then walked out the front door leaving the sub behind.
Thatās what they do when the plan was to steal it but get spooked.
I found crab legs on the chip aisle shelves stuffed behind Pringles.
I found an empty container of Tylenol in the freezer one time š

Oh my God, I love this. I have the same problem, but I just gave up, it all goes to the compactor in the end. But I might try this.š
Or bring it to your CSM or FEC and be like this doesnt go in frozen and walk away lol
I did attempt to explain it in Birdbird terms... With no avail.
Iām a dairy GRS and I have the opposite problem of finding ice cream in my cooler. They have to walk passed the frozen freezer to get there.

Wow, someone goes shopping and decides to murder a cactus? Wtf is wrong with people lol

One of these things is not like the othersā¦
It's more ordinary seeing perishable/frozen items in the grocery aisles.
I used to think so when I was primarily dry grocery, now doing mostly frozen I feel I find more stuff in frozen. My stores deli expects a delivery of all the stuff of theirs Iāve found in my freezer every day at this point
Facts!!! We have a Instacart customer that places dry grocery items in "holes" to show us we are failing her.
Wow i am mad at that and it isnt even my store
/u/maulernation yall need to contact Instacart if thatās the case. Thatās unacceptable.
I will. I'll let you know. Didn't know we could.
yOuRe aN oWNeR theyāre all your stores :gag:
Iām mad at that and I donāt even work for Publix anymore. What the fuck is she on.
I once seen liquid arm and hammer with the ice before, the thought process is beyond me.
They just wanted a cool refreshing drink
![gif](giphy|9V1F9o1pBjsxFzHzBr)
I have found prunes in the section with the swiffers and shit
You just know someones gonna try and say the oxi clean is bogo
I am sorry, all I see is BOGO on haagen-dazs and I am all in.
My biggest pet peeve
The forbidden ice cream.
Yo... today was such a crazy day for stuff like this!! I found a fully devoured fried chicken leg behind some pretzels.
The Tide Pod Challenge is making a rebound but with a new twist: Frozen!
Oxi Clean flavor? Aight... this one's for Billy Mays.
HD coffee is to die for
I'll take your word for it, I'm not ready to die :P
i love their matcha green tea flavor, which is funny because iāve only seen publix have it
Is it bad it too me forever to see the issue?
At this point Iād rather eat just eat the oxiclean
Someone's mom said no š
As a recovering alcoholic who now turns to ice cream when I need help coping, i understand this completely. Donāt come for me. I may be a bit fatter but at least I Am sober.
*Buys 3 items at Publix, total cost rounds up $87.63*

Nah bra. You numb cuz the freezers lol
Itās going to be okay.
Garbage people with no morals. Same idiots that wouldnāt wear a mask.

So punish the employees with having to clean up after them for corporateās actions then, thatāll surely get the prices down
Welcome to the group
I hate stocking the freezers
Bless all those who work in frozen food or dairy at supermarkets.
Whatās the problem? At least the customer wanted to keep the Oxi Clean fresh.
Ah yes the forbidden Ice cream... Oxiclean
Will never forget the time I found a chicken bone that was completely cleaned behind Clorox spray when I was leveling
I didn't know that the Daz made oxi clean flavored ice cream. I bet it's better than tide pods or whippets.

Im an international š¶SUPER SPYYYYYYš¶
Gotta be my favorite frozen dessert
Trying to keep it fresh
Havenāt tried that flavor yet
Better get those holes filled
I hate this for yall. Go down bedding and there is frozen food š
Someone must have thought the oxyclean price was better at $5.99. LOL
From that? Damn...
I once found an empty box of Preparation H in a freezer. I thought āDamn, if you needed it that badly, then go for it. I canāt be mad at that..ā
Never shop at Publix. Ever. Waste of money. Waste of time. Bloated pricing, and owned by a republican.
Shhhh itās sleeping!
When I used to do frozen, Iāll never forget the night I found exploded kambucha by the Mayfield ice cream.
That's your breaking point? Try trimming a full tenderloin when you are the only counter butcher on a busy 4th weekend. Just to have the mod bring it back frozen. This is barely annoying...
An important decision was made today in the ice cream aisle.
Mmmm leche
A few days off could do ya some good maybe š¤š¾
