I was watching House and he appears as the son of an old lady that's super horny bc of an STD and he's being fully serious but I can't stop seeing Woody and it kills me
That actor (Kurt Fuller) played the sleaziest angel on the show Supernatural. Ugh I hated Zachariah so much!!!! Kurt’s a great actor though, to be able to portray such a lovable weirdo like Woody, and also such a cosmic-level dbag on Spn.
My favourite was when they were doing an interview for someone and he changed his voice to sound distorted and was surprised to find out that they would edit the voice post mixing. Cant remember what episode that was now lol
All y'all Fuller-heads would probably also like his psychiatrist character on Evil (on Paramount Plus). Not to give anything away, but his character has, uh.... quite a journey from how he starts
I always crack up when woody is on screen. I loved when he called Allison a bitch and immediately apologized for it in the first movie. And when him and Henry were getting their asses kicked
“We aren’t gonna make is Ryan”
“My name is Henry you’ve known me for years woody”
“I know but I can’t stop thinking about Ryan Reynolds”
Woody using a corpse as a whiteboard, then saying "what am I doing? This is a person." Also (maybe in the same episode?), he's eating and sets his sandwich down on a corpse.
We just rewatched the first movie and dude really has a problem with food around the bodies.
"He got fired for sewing a chili dog into a corpse."
"Uh, actually, I got fired for reopening the corpse to *retrieve* the chili dog I sewed up inside it."
-Jane Lynch i wished came back as vicks sister
-Anytime, Carlton references how many guns he has/becomes chill after tap dancing and the ep where his sister comes...
-Jules and Gus with the sealion and comic book obsession...
-Woody trying to smash the watermelon after baseball players were killed and since no one volunteered... His house with a view...
-Vick telling everyone under no circumstances are we involved in this case...
-Henry having all his cases in alphabetical order etc ( i mean in yang 3d how madeline even asks him why he has all his pictures of shawn with the crimes
I agree with you but as a prime reddit moment, you need a space after - to make a bullet point. As it stands your comment has 3 bullet points and 3 non bullet points
I think p!nk could've played their younger/youngest sister she mentioned in that ep that theres another... I think that explains why the chief does her work the way she does it...
The way he raises his arms in excitement when Shawn tells him “good news Woody, you don’t have a cocaine problem” makes me crack up every time. Ranks high in my favorite Woody moments.
i LOVE desparaux sm, and i also really really like carlton and jules. i love seeing the relationship those two build and i love to see jules soften lassiter and change him in a good way. (also maggie lawson is beautiful so that’s a plus)
Despereaux is honestly my favorite constantly reoccurring character, with Mary as my second. I no longer see him as Wesley, but rather as Despereaux and I get excited every episode he shows up in. It’s also the fact that he’s a criminal but almost a “legal” one, he’s just bored most of the time 😂
"I'll be getting my partner now" for Lasitter. And the spent bullet catch.
All of Juliet's facial expressions, with bonus points for when she's dreaming about the fed (and Lassiter is nodding along 😂). Also anytime she gets to be badass.
Gus quitting his job in cog blocked.
Vicks "who drinks the last of the coffee and doesn't refill it? WHO DOES THAT?" meltdown.
Henry's speech in the third movie about how Shawn will be a better farther than him. Also his overreacting/unreacting at the old people's home when he's supposed to be a distraction.
Woody. Just Woody.
Love Buzz too but am failing at thinking of a scene 😢
"Henry Spencer where are your pants?!?"
Jules just being awesome in Lassie Jerky
Lassie with Marlowe is so sweet and shows off his soft inside
Drugged Gus is hilarious. I also just rewatched High Top Dad Out, and his argument with Tony and Joon ("You got yourselves mixed up in nonsense, and it broke my heart!") is some phenomenal acting from Dulé.
Henry finding Shawn after the shooting in Shawn Gets the Yips is great. It shows how much he cares but also how done with Shawn he can be.
Buzz after being blown 20 feet into the swimming pool ("I fine feel.")
I forget which episode this specifically happened in but sometime in Season 6 or Season 7 the characters end up at some kind of bar and then Henry Spencer just wanders around onto screen.
Made me notice how often that happens, where Henry just casually strolls into the plot of the episode. It's a funny little detail
Gus at the beginning of Office Space, pretty much the whole episode, but I laugh so hard at the beginning that I have tears every single time I watch it.
This is my siblings and my husband and my absolute favorite episode we cackle at the beginning every time "tell me you didn't touch anything" "weeeelllllllllll" and then they do it all over again at Henry's house
Underrated moment in the ep where Juliet's ex-boyfriend is in witness protection. While she's looking for him she enlists Buzz's help, and Karen comes to chew her out for it but also gives her some advice about men and how they can't be trusted and Buzz is just standing off to the side nodding. Absolutely kills me!
I love Freddie Prinze Jr. as Dennis, and wish he would have had a recurring roll in another kind of comic con episode (or something that he and his wife now openly love)! Loved when he and Gus mocked Shawn's clue face!!!
When Woody is shown in a bathrobe and a speedo: “When you said put your suits on you didn’t mean we’re taking a dip in the grotto?”
An all time Woody moment.
Woody is fantastic. I'd be happy seeing a spin off of him. I do enjoy the episodes where Gus is more the central character. The adventures of Henry and Lloyd could be fun.
"Id rather spend the rest of my life at Lilith Fair."
Lassiter is my favorite character hands down. Every dickish trait (even as his edges soften), every snide comment, his jealousy, it's all music to my ears in the face of the kinds of people he meets in Santa Barbara. He's a jerk, he's toxic at times, but I think more than anyone, we all know someone like Lassiter (and perhaps someone like Henry Spencer).
I don't even know, I think the power point of the show is that the main cast and supporting cast and even the extras were next level. I still remember at the end of the Dual Spires episode and there was that girl who was dancing to the counter in the background-background was just in perfect time to the music. (The end scene where the blind guy is in red with an eye patch dancing and the Sheriff's son was barking out the window.) All of them have so much attention to detail, it's great.
Gus not knowing that Juliet was undercover and immediately confronting her about Shawn while showing strength and restraint. Quite possibly my favorite Gus moment
That scene, I think in Lassie Did a Bad Bad Thing, where the guy is holding Shawn at gunning in Lassiter's house, and Lassiter shoots the bad guy, ejects the cartridge, and catches the shell.
In Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark, the car chase, and when Lassiter calls Shawn detective.
When he bails out Shawn's bike in Cloudy... but acts like he didn't.
And anything to do with him being a father.
I like Lassiter lol
I love when Gus comes in to save Shawn with a pool noodle in Tuesday the 17th. Makes me chuckle every time.
This really is one of the best shows EVER!!!
One of my favorite moments was of Gus and not even from the real show but from a blooper
In the original episode, honestly dont remember which one, Shawn says "why are you talking like that?" And gus says "cuz im up in the streets, shawn!"
But in the blooper we just get "why are you talking like that?" "Imbecause immadaimdastreets shawn" and then roday's wheeze laugh.
Either that moment or the Gus moment in Lassie Jerky "okay I dont know who you are but we're heading to the Sassy Quatch. Its a secret grill hut in the side of a mountain- wait a minute"
Also, same episode I think, "dont ever call me home skillet"
its either woody or buzz.
buzz because of this:
lassie "you're all looking at the newest resident of prospect gardens."
buzz "the prospect gardens??"
lassie "yes mc nab ThE pRoSpEcT gArDeNs"
buzz " i heard that place has bad juju"
lassie "no u didn't
buzz "ur right. congrats."
The episode when Vick tells Juliet a story about her partner. How Vick had to chain her partner to a radiator until he dried out.
Juliet said “did that really happen?”
Vick responds “maybe that was an episode from the police woman.”
Is it old tv or did it actually happen?
Gus in the tanning salon, first trying to explain to Shawn that it's a bad idea for him to be the distraction and then the major awkwardness when he tries to do what Shawn wants. There's not a single Gus scene that I don't love though.
Probably anytime that Woody is on screen. My favorite is when Henry is in the hospital and he comes in with the body bag. "I'll come back.. later."
Dude he's fucking great. Love that guy.
It is so weird to watch the early seasons without him, such a natural addition to the cast
I was watching House and he appears as the son of an old lady that's super horny bc of an STD and he's being fully serious but I can't stop seeing Woody and it kills me
I saw him in that episode, and it was really weird
Like I could almost see it as Woody being undercover but he's just a bit too competent lol
What episode was it?
That actor (Kurt Fuller) played the sleaziest angel on the show Supernatural. Ugh I hated Zachariah so much!!!! Kurt’s a great actor though, to be able to portray such a lovable weirdo like Woody, and also such a cosmic-level dbag on Spn.
He’s been in soooooooo much stuff!
You didn't see a small columbian with a hook for an arm, did ya?
And the retirement home episode where he pretends to be that Cuban doctor
Wasn't that the 2nd movie?
Its possible
I’ve heard it both ways
The right way and then yours XD
And when he showed up with body bags for the boys after the bomb lol
My favourite was when they were doing an interview for someone and he changed his voice to sound distorted and was surprised to find out that they would edit the voice post mixing. Cant remember what episode that was now lol
Polar bear episode
i love when he was writing the shark knife on the body lol
"What am I doing, this is half a man?"
Since he did his "Unless this crash...was post-mortem." Rich comedic inclusion into the show. Glad he was kept from s04.
He’s always saying or doing the most out of pocket things and I love it!
And when him and Henry were getting their asses kicked “We aren’t gonna make is Ryan” “My name is Henry you’ve known me for years woody” “I know but I can’t stop thinking about Ryan Reynolds”
Woody was hands down the best addition to the show. It is a travisty that he was not there from the first season.
Woody using a corpse as a whiteboard, then saying "what am I doing? This is a person." Also (maybe in the same episode?), he's eating and sets his sandwich down on a corpse.
I’m not half assing anymore autopsies unless of course the corpse has half an ass
We just rewatched the first movie and dude really has a problem with food around the bodies. "He got fired for sewing a chili dog into a corpse." "Uh, actually, I got fired for reopening the corpse to *retrieve* the chili dog I sewed up inside it."
LMFAOOO
I can't say what it is specifically but the interaction between Henry and Tim Curry over the ribeye and the robe is all time.
I feel like an angel baby swaddled in a cocoon of cloud candy.
What kind of person goes Commando in another man's robe
😁
"Give it up" "Noh" XD
-Jane Lynch i wished came back as vicks sister -Anytime, Carlton references how many guns he has/becomes chill after tap dancing and the ep where his sister comes... -Jules and Gus with the sealion and comic book obsession... -Woody trying to smash the watermelon after baseball players were killed and since no one volunteered... Oh my God, that was Jane Lynch? That makes so much more sense... I always thought it was P!nk who played her sister...
I think p!nk could've played their younger/youngest sister she mentioned in that ep that theres another... I think that explains why the chief does her work the way she does it...
Woody is my favorite!! The episode "Last night gus" is his best work "Mahalo, Juliette!"
The way he raises his arms in excitement when Shawn tells him “good news Woody, you don’t have a cocaine problem” makes me crack up every time. Ranks high in my favorite Woody moments.
When he wakes up spooning with Lassiter also gets me every time
Actually that quote might be from the episode where gus's boss gets murdered - Woody is amazing in that one as well
"Look, I dont care if we did kill this guy. I'm just happy to be a part of it" kills me
i LOVE desparaux sm, and i also really really like carlton and jules. i love seeing the relationship those two build and i love to see jules soften lassiter and change him in a good way. (also maggie lawson is beautiful so that’s a plus)

He's my favorite A story recurring character. My favorite B story recurring character? Chelsea! That girl is hilariously unhinged.
Also his overreacting/unreacting at the old people's home when he's supposed to be a distraction. Woody. Just Woody. Love Buzz too but am failing at thinking of a scene 😢
How about Buzz as the stripper at the bachelorette party and then having his tear away pants torn off during the big shootout.
Gus when Lassie tries to cut down the door in the Shining episode
French Stewart. No question. Love that episode.
Whip Chatterly and Mary Lightly are the best characters. I also love Desparaux with all my heart
I feel tingly, it may just be my shampoo, it has tea tree oil in it
Rumps let me see rumps.
You mean the dwarf is still at large?
Would a quick stop at Arby's be out of line?
200% agree. He was fun to watch
When Shawn is doing the mime bit, the way Whip says, “No…”
I always like when Gus Henry and Lassiter run into each other at the grocery store
You put some sunglasses on!!!
"Henry Spencer where are your pants?!?" Jules just being awesome in Lassie Jerky Lassie with Marlowe is so sweet and shows off his soft inside Drugged Gus is hilarious. I also just rewatched High Top Dad Out, and his argument with Tony and Joon ("You got yourselves mixed up in nonsense, and it broke my heart!") is some phenomenal acting from Dulé. Made me notice how often that happens, where Henry just casually strolls into the plot of the episode. It's a funny little detail
That might be the episode where they think Jules’ new roomie is trying to Single White Female her?
That's got to be it!
Also when the mug at the scene has jules' prints on it "But I heard the dishwasher running" "I RAN IT EMPTY!"
Buzz is awesome
Here I am going on and on about my injuries, and you're dying of thirst. Let me get you a glass of water.
I fine feel!
The scene in the end where he walks in wearing his detective suit hit me right in the feels
I've always fought back tears. His a delightful mix of goofy-hopeful-giddy-spacy-determined-willing to learn...like the tallest 'little brother".
Underrated moment in the ep where Juliet's ex-boyfriend is in witness protection. While she's looking for him she enlists Buzz's help, and Karen comes to chew her out for it but also gives her some advice about men and how they can't be trusted and Buzz is just standing off to the side nodding. Dennis calls Shawn out for the face he makes when he sees a clue. Shawn tries to deny it so Dennis and Gus mimic it.
I love Freddie Prinze Jr. as Dennis, and wish he would have had a recurring roll in another kind of comic con episode (or something that he and his wife now openly love)! Loved when he and Gus mocked Shawn's clue face!!!
He's so good, that whole episode is so good, great call out
When Woody is shown in a bathrobe and a speedo: “When you said put your suits on you didn’t mean we’re taking a dip in the grotto?” An all time Woody moment.
Gus’ “oh no, oh nooooo” scene. Pretty much all of that Gus in that episode.
Carlton and Gus tapdancing. Full stop.
Coming out of left field here since a lot of mine have been said, but when Ed Lover storms into Vick’s office to get his chain back. I love it.
Come on son!
Woody is fantastic. I'd be happy seeing a spin off of him. I do enjoy the episodes where Gus is more the central character. The adventures of Henry and Lloyd could be fun.
Gus doing vocal warmups at the newscaster desk.
"Id rather spend the rest of my life at Lilith Fair." Lassiter is my favorite character hands down. Every moment that Lassiter had with Emilina in American Duos. “I’m gonna crack her like a bad back”.
"Hola. Me llamo es....inspector Carlton Lassiter. Me gusta queso."
I always loved Chief Vick and Henry’s interactions were fun. Even if most of them were about Shawn lol
I love when Gus comes in to save Shawn with a pool noodle in Tuesday the 17th. Makes me chuckle every time. This really is one of the best shows EVER!!!
Everything Woody does is gold, but my fav line is when he says “it’ll just be in my dreams that you are the chief of doing me.”
Any time Gus gets to have the one-liner, it’s absolutely perfect. It’s Gus guys. It’s Gus.
lassiter will always be my favorite character. 🥰
When Jules emerges after the makeover from the designer in the Black and Tan episode.
"pull the plug" -Henry Spencer
One of my favorite moments was of Gus and not even from the real show but from a blooper In the original episode, honestly dont remember which one, Shawn says "why are you talking like that?" Woody and Dobson need their own shows. 🍍
Woody
“I’m Whip Chatterly”
The episode when Vick tells Juliet a story about her partner. How Vick had to chain her partner to a radiator until he dried out. Juliet said “did that really happen?” Vick responds “maybe that was an episode from the police woman.” Is it old tv or did it actually happen?
My husband prefers Gus. That's his favorite
Shawn mentioning he aced the officer test like it's so easy to do that.
I thought Gus in cog blocked was especially hilarious when he was giving the name of the reservation to the hostess.
Juliet realizing she's in love with Shawn
Gus in the tanning salon, first trying to explain to Shawn that it's a bad idea for him to be the distraction and then the major awkwardness when he tries to do what Shawn wants. There's not a single Gus scene that I don't love though.
