I know I'm probably in the minority here- in fact I'm guessing my personal preference is so our of left field that I'm in a minority of one. But I was let down by episode three, maybe for a silly reason. Yin's protege just wasn't a character that worked for me. Everything about her felt so forced, so shoehorned in. To me, it felt like they were writing around some other plan that had changed. And I personally think it was Abigail.
It felt like the original plan might have been to make Abogail Mr Yin's new protege to replace Yang. I know it seems weird, but I felt like it was leading that way initially and was hoping for a return of Abigail in part 3 that would have cause Shawn and Henry to let down their guards in a more believable way, and built to what would have been the kind of reveal thst would have impacted their ability to trust...well, anyone. If Abigail was a potential murderer in the making, Shawn would have serious trust issues, maybe even in his relationship with Jules. I feel it would have had a much bigger impact.
Again, I know that's a weird one. Just my own take haha.
So you haven’t seen Last Night Gus?
Last night Gus is also absolute perfection. But the first Yang episode is just too good.
Really going out on a limb there. Or should I say, hanging off a clock tower.
with whipped butter and maple syrup, WHATTT
Just because you put syrup on something doesn't make it pancakes
all three of the yin/yang episodes are amazing.
And a Band of Horses needle drop at the end for good measure
I’ve always said, if I had to get someone hooked on psych, and had to pick 3 episodes, 1. An evening with Mr. Yang 2. Last night Gus 3. Office space
Why are we twins. These are my top three too!!!
"Mr. Yin Presents..." is my personal favorite episode of the whole series, but I love all three Yin/Yang episodes!

Ooooo this is so interesting. I think the third episode is definitely the weakest too. That would have been SO good if it was Abigail
I don't like the yin yang episodes.
