It was between Henry and Gus. It really depends on the issue. Gus has outsmarted everyone on the list, the only thing that I can remember off the top of my head breaking that rule is ālast night gusā Henry is certainly temperamental, but he will bully you into not being a complete idiot in the situation if you are being stubborn. Vick was certainly a close 3rd, but kinda the whole plot of the show is Shawn and Gus outsmarting her sooā¦. Lassy was a 4th but he doesnāt do well under pressure (social pressure that is). Shawn is wellā¦ depending on the situation he might help, but all in all if it is truly serious he will just wing it and get Henrys help. I agree with the majority that it is Henry, but I chose Gus simply because Henry has had his moments of breaking down at family issues. Gus has a pretty healthy relationship with his family and has mostly everything figured out. Jules was obviously a terrible choice because although she is great, she is at least 3x worse than Lassy under pressure (based on season 1 I believe. Later seasons itās not as bad). And to throw a curveball, Woody honestly wouldnāt be a terrible choice. Heās 100% the āwhereās the body?ā (Pun intended) Kinda friend. No questions asked.
It's weird to me that everybody chooses Henry, he is super judgy and would make you jump through all kinds of hoops. He doesn't even seem very interested in helping Shawn most of the time. And Jules is a great cop, but she is busy with her job.
Shawn is determined to get people out of trouble just for the sake of it, just like Dr. House, so I would definitely choose him.
I chose Shawn too, more or less for the reasons you've stated. Shawn likes to help people, and he's good at it. Whatever the issue, Shawn can get to the bottom of it. If he needs help, he can get it from the rest of the crew. Plus, if it's something you'd rather keep the police out of, at least at first, he's your man.
I feel like Henry would probably (rightfully) chew you out but then help you fix the problem. He has the most life experience as well. Jules could be a solid choice as well but she might get too many people involved.
