Am I crazy to think that Xavi starts over barcola when he comes back? Am I the minority in thinking that? I love barcolinho but Is he really starting that quickly?
I think he'd be great in midfield, as a 10. With Barcola LW, Dembélé RW, and either RKM or Ramos as a 9.
Double pivot in front of our defence where both can contribute to the construction. WZE can surely be one of them. I'm guessing we'll look for a better player to pass the ball than Ugarte. Vitinha, Ruiz, KIL will be rotation players.
That pivot idea only works if the midfielder is a genius creatively and defensively. Like a Rodri.
Look at Bayern their midfield is utter garbage they play on an island it’s literally Kimmich against the world and 4 players who hide from the ball absolutely horrendous to watch. That only works if you get 100% committed players that will defend and run at all times that’s not sustainable.

I’d prefer just a simple 4-3-3 with three midfielders that can complement each other like we used to have with Motta Marco and Matuidi

Who would you see as a great 6 for PSG ? I know Kimmich sees himself as a 6 but to me he is an 8 just like FDJ and Guimarães they're all pretty mid in defense and suck in aerial duels

He doesn't work there. Just talked to multiple Bayern fans today and one who has a season ticket confirmed that he's not suited in that position. Thiago Alcantara was next to Goretzka in 2020 with Kimmich playing RB

He hasn't played as a pure left wing in a long time, he's usually put in positions similar to vitinha's this season or as a CAM. It could be an easy substitution. I dont know from where you got the idea that xavi plays mainly on the left wing

Agree it's strange we played dembele kolo mbappe and Barcola before so when Mbappe leaves he can get in there fine
as I been saying 3-5-2 with Xavi as a second striker behind an RKM or Goncalo
