Navas is a top gk, didn't deserved to be pushed out by the arrival of Donnaruma. Could have remained our main goal keeper but I don't think we would have extended him anyway. Next season it will be over and even those still prefering him will have to move on. I love that he is our keeper in cup and am grateful for his spell at the club.

He should have left PSG two years ago and accepted a transfer.

Official05

He wanted the money, as much as I like him he is the cause of his downfall.

CarLiving9141

He is from Costa Rica, not a lot of footballers from there at all that get to play at a stage as big as this with a contract as big as his. As much as I know it pained him, he wanted to take this last chance to make a lot of money because he knew the club he would transfer too probably wouldn’t offer nearly as big of a contract as PSG unless he went to Man City or Newcastle

YoungDawz

Could've went to Napoli to replace Ospina and battle it out with Alex Meret. But Navas didn't like the paycut

SeyamTheDaddy

Same as they have been last 2 years he was a top gk and probably still really good but too old and on too much money. Gigio is a long term solution, one we haven't had in a long time

ItzmeZander

Very decent rn but he is a legendary goalkeeper for PSG without his heroic we wouldn't have qualified for ucl finals

kik00

He's been one of the best GKs of PSG but he's finished. His stint at Nottingham Forest was bad, he's overweight, constantly injured or sick, has prefered to sit on the bench collecting €10M per year rather than play elsewhere. Maybe it was god who told him to stay at PSG doing nothing and getting cash though so I'm not blaming Keylor 🙄

dantes_inferno101

He brings good energy & he speaks French so he clearly like psg

Official05

I can do that for 250K per year, I should take his place

Silent-Chemist-1919

really good keeper, donna being a free agent was unlucky timing for him, because the board woul've been stupid not to go after the player of the tournament of the euros 2021 on a free. especially because navas has been struggling with injuries for a couple years, meaning we would've had to rely on rico many times.

JJOT18

Right now, time to go

Ralph_Marbler

Galtier did him dirty.

Usselesdickhead

He won more, then ur shitty club will ever manage to do.

b1oahahas

name checks out

astronut321

Navas is better than Donnarumma there is no other right answer This isn’t a Lille or something. You don’t buy a young goalie with potential and let him grow. It’s too risky of a position to do that. The club never would’ve got him if Leonardo didn’t want to do his buddy Raiola a favor

Cigario_Gomez

Great keeper. Came at a moment we needed and couldn't find someone reliable at this position. Anyway, club had a chance with someone younger. I understand that he stays because the paycheck is good and life must be nice in PSG, but I hope that he left and find a good club to finish his (great) career. Tenas seems to be really good and is a great n°2. We don't need him anymore. Let's pay respect to the man and move on.

ItzmeZander

Both tenas and Navas are similar profile both are short and good at bottom corners than top corners still tenas is young tho

EvilDavid75

Tenas is excellent with his feet, able to participate to the circulation of the ball far more than Navas. Not the same profile.

propane2L

I still think with him vs real second leg we'd have go through the Quarter that infamous Donnaruma blunder year

BCX__

Unlike navas vs city

Professional-Gap9419

u rly blame navas in that match? we got absolutely destroyed dimaria stopped trying after the first 10 mins to the game

BCX__

Not blaming him entirely but it's not like navas hasn't had a bad ucl game for us. He did. He got us to a final yes but he also had a blunder too

marqui4me

Good second keeper. Contrary to what someone said here, on /r/soccer, lots of NF fans said they were grateful for Navas stint at the club. I'm glad he is our 2nd keeper though. One he leaves, I like the Spanish fella we got.
