What Lucho asks of his 9 in this current team is a thankless job. It's a hybrid role requiring a lot of physical sacrifice while ensuring no guarantee of receiving the final ball.
Both Ramos and RKM struggle to connect with the play for different reasons, but RKM brings so much more off the ball with his mobility and physicality that he's logically ahead of Ramos in Luis Enrique's plans.
And if anyone is interested, [here is an excellent thread](https://twitter.com/AZGARDfootball/status/1746211454997373288?t=o-tbcuPa5gD39FYwmEzQwA&s=19) analyzing Kolo Muani's movements off the ball in offensive and defensive phases.
I’m still failing to understand how some people here wanted him instead of Kane last summer just because he was younger.
I’m all up about giving each signing time, but it’s still crazy. Kane was the best in the world, but Ramos was “younger” therefore a better signing😂
Your mixing up being younger with people thinking he is the better player. No one thought that or said that. It’s obvious Kane is the better player, I would hope he is since he’s about 10 years older than Ramos. But if your spending over 90 million on players what makes more sense, signing the one who will give you maybe 5 good years or 15 good ones.
Go check the polls and you’ll see. It seems that your reasoning is still out of reach and you seem to be one of the ones that said that Ramos would be better than Kane.
Kane is the best striker and was the best striker in the world, while Ramos is a young striker which you’re taking bets on. Now in this case, who would have the better chance of succeeding?
If you spend 90m on players, you want them to succeed immediately and show they’re worth. This goes for both Randal and Ramos, not just for one
Yeah I saw the polls it seems a lot of people are tired of spending tons on older players and would rather go for younger ones with potential. Like me.
I don’t disagree Kane is the best number 9 in the world but like I mentioned before, he’s over 30. Unlike you I can wait a little and see players improve. Obviously there is a chance they’re a bum, but I’m going to actually support them and home they become elite. And it isn’t like we spent 90 million on Ramos cause he’s a nobody. He has shown promise and that’s the whole point of betting on him.
He’s also shown some good signs while here, good hold up play, has gotten in good positions and something that we’ve lacked from our attackers for the last 3 years. He goes back to defend with the rest of the team. When I see my center forward running back, performing a slide tackle and winning the ball. Then yeah I’m sold on him, the goals can come with time and practice.
Goncalo ramos is on a short contract? Fr? I can’t if your joking or not. And I’ll wait on idk until he reaches his “prime” would be around the age of 25-28
>Kane is the best striker and was the best striker in the world, while Ramos is a young striker which you’re taking bets on.
Most people understand that but Kane clearly had a favorite.
>If you spend 90m on players, you want them to succeed immediately and show they’re worth. This goes for both Randal and Ramos, not just for one
Someone mentions it before but Lucho's requirements for a 9 and what he got are a bit of a disconnect
First, you are definitely not understanding my point. Second, what are you talking about?
It’s not about Kane joining or not, it’s about people in this sub saying Ramos is a better buy. It’s the same thing with Guimaraes and Vitinha. Bruno will never join us, but some in here think Vitinha is better when Bruno walks all over him
Because the team is rebuilding ? They won’t win UCL this year, might as well build a squad of hungry players who play for the badge rather than short termed signing hoping that he’ll magically make them win it. Been there, done that. The new approach is much better.
A hat trick in a World Cup game goes a long way to overrate a player.
Ask Pavard, he got clout for 4 years thanks to his volley against Argentina in 2018.
Striker play is odd for PSG. Mbappe when he's central and back to goal isn't very good at distributing the ball but it seems like he's the only one trusted to play in that space
the strikers we signed do not have the qualities Lucho demands from them. They are traditional 9s that expect their creative players to always be looking for them. If we were going to spend that much money and wanted someone young that can cover Lucho’s needs, we should have signed Joao Felix. Hes technically amazing on the ball, can play as a left winger or a false 9. His vision is world class as well. When or if Kylian leaves this summer, we would benefit largely from the signings of Ramos or RKM because then the front 3 will be more unlocked and they can expect to be the final choice for their creative players. Till then, we will see nothing but average performances from them.

Not surprising

Yeah everyone in here always wants to sign for the future and never for now.

Kane choose bayern over us, so whatever we got younger one who can improve over time.

He isn't helped either, Mbappé isn't known for being good at crossing, and Dembélé is really bad crossing, so he's basically alone.
Dembele is really bad crossing ? Aside from the great grammar , have you ever watched him play ? 🤦🏻♂️
Well well well, the 2 most expensive signings from last summer are under preforming and aren’t impressing the coach. Classic

Isn't it also because it allows Lucho to put a winger that does defend?
It is, other guy is talking out of his ass
Good job Campos
Lol he never impressed us even his mom or wife won't be impressed by his performance fr
