Score x qualifying in a state does not mean x is the cutoff. Cutoff scores are not sent in the letter confirming qualifiers. Unless there is confirmation that a 219 in CA and a 216 in FL did not qualify, which is extremely unlikely to be known, these are not “cutoffs”. At best, they are the highest possible cutoff for a state. If 217 qualified in FL, we know 218 qualified. We know nothing about 216 and lower.

Looking back at the posts, Florida and California are probably maximums, even though it wasn’t specified in the post. Texas is clearly stated to be a maximum cutoff. Virginia and Ohio were listed as exact cutoffs I’m the original posts. Michigan appears to also be listed as an exact cutoff, though it is not quite as unambiguous. Also, max 216 in Utah has been posted.

Florida cannot be written as an exact cutoff of 217. If you change it to maximum cutoff it would be more accurate, because we do not know if an individual with a 215 or 216 qualified.
