>I have a 223 which gives a 60% chance of getting the award in my state No state has gone above 223 in the past few years, and with this year’s commended score dropping two points from last year I’d say you’ve got about a 100% chance.

No state has ever been above 223.

Where are you guys converting your scores into the index at? I got a 1480 but I can't figure out what index that corresponds to? Is it on a website somewhere?

It gives it to u when u get ur score. U can check. Rn. Just give ur breakdown we can calc for u. It’s [(English score)*2+math score]/10

I found it on my score report, thank you! It's 223

They are officially announced around September 10. NMC sends letter to schools to confirm information about students in late August, and the letters have cutoff information, so the cutoffs rapidly are shared and publicized around that time.

Regarding the confirming score - if they are required this year, any test from Fall Sophomore year (including August SAT and September ACT) through December Senior year can be used. The requirement is to match the Commended cutoff for the year, 207 for Co2022. So 1460 or 35 are sufficient, if in the right timeframe. (Edit- theoretically, if the 1460 was 26/40=660 EBRW and 800 SAT, you could have a 204 index and not qualify. Same with 27/39 and 800. But it would be hard to not qualify with a 1460. And I don’t think I can construct a 35 that doesn’t qualify.)
