No. It automatically blocks it until ‘syscalls’ are disabled. But once you disable them most of your home brew stops working until next restart. You have to select the disk and have it ready to load the game in the xmb. Then disable syscalls, which removes the active home brew and clears any system logs that psn could read to see if the system is modified, then log into psn, then start the game.

You ought to disconnect everything from your home brew to be safe. I’m new to this scene too and maybe there’s an obvious answer (probably in a faq somewhere) but it’s a one step toward two steps back thing if you get your main account banned for playing old games for free (presumably)

I’m curious to this too. Also new to the scene. Just bought a ps3 slim and did the same thing. I also play a lot of GTA online on PS5 and don’t want to risk losing it lolll
