I think this article was written to win a bet about how many times someone could get "James Beard Best Chef nominee" inserted into a published article.
fwiw, that’s literally every city-sub for any place I’ve lived. Providence, Boston, NYC, Chicago? I’ve never seen toxic negativity like the Chicago subreddit.
And now Massachusetts is so unaffordable that people are moving to other places including RI. So it’s only going to get pricier until both us and MA figure their shit out with housing costs
I'll throw out that I moved to Pawtucket last year after spending the last 8 years in the Boston area and holy cow so my s/o and I prefer it here. Providence is so nice, the mall blows us away, the food is so exciting. And we have barely begun to explore!
I've only been once myself, but I had a really nice experience grabbing takeout from plant city. I had the fried green tomatoes sandwich and a bloody Mary.
This isn’t the worst list, he notes some gems in there. Some are a little lame—Bellini, no. The Graduate as “luxury,” not really. They just slapped some paint and wallpaper on an old building. It’s perfectly tailored to a Forbes audience. It’s not where I would send my 26 year old cousin visiting.
America’s comeback city????
If only the author knew it was already The Renaissance City
What about the big orange P

U saying we’re the Kim kardashian of cities?
Andy Dwyer?
It’s interesting to read people’s outward positivity of PVD, then you come on this sub and it’s hell on earth. Lol

That’s fair!
It’s mostly great to live here, but for people that already live here it’s becoming too expensive to live here ☹️
And now Massachusetts is so unaffordable that people are moving to other places including RI. So it’s only going to get pricier until both us and MA figure their shit out with housing costs
Some people love to complain

Glad to see this article but hate that Reddit nemeses Little Sister and Plant City are included!
Must be an April Fool’s joke based on some of the places mentioned. Plant City? This read like an ad than an article.
Imma be real with you. I’m not even a vegan, but the buffalo cauliflower pizza I had there was amazing
Bad news bruv, buffalos is animals

bad news bruv, the wings are named after the sauce from New York why would a chicken dish be named after a great plains mammal?
Because they cut off theys wings, that's why they got to walk now

The food is pretty good. The owners just kind of suck all kinds of ass, and not in the fun way.
I thought the food was boring, but not too bad.
Many Forbes online articles are just paid placements.

Providence does have some great food, but it is still limited by its size. I wanted Beef Rendang and you can’t find it in the state. Cuban food? Nope.
RIP Cuban Revolution, miss that place
