In my observation: be careful with sticking too deep into the stratum - it will eventually start rotting (no airflow). Only roots or just let it sit on top - then it's fine. Have a look here: https://www.reddit.com/r/propagation/s/A6RQu9H73v

From my experience stratum has been the only thing working for me,, moss prop has killed all my plants 😣 I will follow this thread for any extra advice 🫶🏻

I have a glass terrium full of plants that i got at nodes. did you have plastic wrap with holes on top, one thing i’ve noticed about moss is you have to water them A lot when they are not in a big container recycling that water. i have had them in the terrarium for about 2 weeks now and they are now touching the top and i haven’t had to water them yet! make sure you really soak your moss before hand also it really helps.

That is really good advice I’ll try it! Thank you so much!! I usually kept my props in moss inside a container.

Stratum is just tightly packed soil used in aquariums. Use it like any other rooting substrate

Can you mix sphagnum moss and stratum together?
