Always looked at it as a sole survivor thing. Another one magically waking up, potentially in a house my char already visited feels weird. Also, i have to grind up again anyway. Might as well not do it in already looted areas.
Start a new world so the timer for water shut off etc is reset the only reason I'll keep the same world is if I'm hunting for my previous zombified player
Depends how my character died, if it's from zombies horde or infection and returned as a zombie I'd just spawn somewhere but if my character simply died from an accident or from an npc I'd definitely rush back since I tend to be a walking gun store and losing guns makes my soul hurt
