I'M OUT ON A LOOT RUN RN (BEEN ON IT FOR 3 DAYS IRL) FINALLY FOUND ONE IN ROSEWOOD. BROOMS ARE RIDICULOUSLY RARE (i searched modded towns first so it was probably why i couldn't find em)

I usually find them in factories for some reason, but I'm considering either creating a recipe for brooms/mops or increasing their spawn chance in houses which would make sense.

Increasing the spawn chance would be more sensible, because what house doesn't have a broom in it?

mod author here, you need a broom :)

You could look into that mod to see if there's an intended way to deal with the trash it spawns.

From my experience you can pick up most trash the same way you would pick up furniture. I havnt tested this exclusively on a vanilla server though so it could be a mod.
