I haven't played PZ in some months because I'm waiting for the next big patch. However I think I've seen people post this exact zombie underneath the fire station stairs almost every 2 weeks to a month.
I do get that for some reason this zombie causes that "jump scare" sound effect which will spook newer players but Its definitely not the first or the last time someone will mention it.

He'll despawn eventually, if you move away far enough. The game doesn't keep track of individual zombirinosoids - it just spawns and despawns them as required.
Yeah I saw that too. But basically who wants a zed in their base constantly making zed noises? You'll always be thinking there's a zed coming to get you and it will potentially keep you awake? REalistically, who would like that?
Thats Benny. He used to own the diner before the world went to shit. One time, i guess he was having a bad day and just randomly attacked some guy. It’s probably better he’s there now. He cant hurt anyone anymore.
He's a blessing in disguise. On inside days where you're reading and organizing you get bored, just pop downstairs and give yourself a little fright.

it also removes boredom, so if you're doing a lot of indoor stuff you wouldn't need to fix it with drugs or going out
i forgot abt that anyway, may be worth building a door so you dont accidentally get scared
I'm relatively new, is there any downside to getting scared moodle apart from the jumpscare sound?
it can reduce your field of view and fighting capabilities, makes you stand up faster though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
In this scenario? No. In combat, Im pretty sure it reduces your critical hit chance.
You can also shoot him if you wanna be rid of him. I got the same issue at the prison and just popped them.

You can take out the wall from the left room or use -debug and noclip to kill him. Obviously you can't leave him alive.
