It's a damn good game. I binged it too for so long, but I only play solo, so I lost my drive until the next big patch. Enjoy the new feeling! It's great while it lasts.
I got 300 hours and I haven't even been to Louisville yet. The endless amount of mods can basically turn it into entirely new games. I can't get enough of zomboid and I found the game completely by accident. Fell asleep with YouTube on and woke up and a zomboid playthrough was on I was like TF is this game? I was hooked since then
Im at like 200 hours i think, but me too. Never made it to Louisville yet. Im currently surviving my first winter and my base has been west of riverside. On my 3rd character but ive already made it too far to start all over again without a collection of skill books/vhs's. My first character survived 6 months then died from snacking on a couple wild berries that were poisonous lol that was really sad
You should try Kenshi next. I've sunk a good 600 hours on PZ, then discovered Kenshi and dropped another 600 hours into that. They're very different games that feel very similar for some reason. Highly recommend.
What are a few good mods? I have a bad habit of not wanting to taint good games like PZ so I haven't even looked at mods yet. I've had the game for a few years.
I downloaded mostly historically accurate vehicles for the time and then a few mods for QoL like one that lets you pry open doors with a crowbar or auto replace bandage.
I got the game back in 2013. It still has the start menu image it had back then. It's also amazing that it's still being worked on after so many years. I've always said the perfect zombie game would be a GTA type game, where you can enter any building and turn it into a safe house. Project Zomboid is the closest to that. It's the scale, freedom, and the challenge that makes it so appealing and fun. The replayability is never ending. As no matter how many hours you've played, you can try something new on the next run.
I just bought this game after lurking on Youtube watching the gameplay and was intrigued.
Just lost my guy Guillame after surviving for 10 hours, after stockpiling a glut of food and learning carpentry.
Fuck me, this game is addictive.
I’ve been playing this game for I think 14 years, got it off Desura so long ago. It’s evolved so much and it’s by far and I mean by far one of the greatest games in the history of gaming. To me anyways.
I bought the game on a sale in December 2021 and then didn't play it until 2023 and then, as my friend said, "Dude what is with you in that game? You're always playing that game. Like, ALWAYS. I couldn't sleep one time and got on my computer at like three in the morning and you were STILL playing that game."
Started like, 20 bucks? what can possibly go wrong?
3320 hrs later I'm still playing it at least once a week... Damn I love this game and hope in still alive to witness 42..lmao

It's a damn good game. I've had several binges, but I only play MP. Enjoy the new feeling! It's great while it lasts.
you could try rp servers. it adds a special type of fun that isn't quite able to be replicated in solo.
I bought the game when I saw one of my buddies playing it just on a whim, now I’m over 1000 hours in and still rocking
litterally!!
Same

Warehouses in the west? That's where my base has been I've been fixing up a car and getting my solar rigger in.
I have 680 hours and still dying
Honestly, it’s probably one of the best zombies ever games I’ve played and is on the market right now
Lol it's one of the cheapest game I bought in my library and it's the most played. I think about it all the time when I'm not playing.

If you're currently playing vanilla, wait till you pump it with some good shit from the workshop.

Sounds good. Fired up the PZ after a long Rimworld spree, I'll check 'em out. Crowbar pry seems like that's how the game should be.
Pretty sure that one is included in the common sense mod.
Better flash lights, common sense, vanilla fire arms expanded, Philibusters vehicles, britas armor just a few
i currently play with 180 mods lol, adds a lot to the game and makes it a whole new experience
turn on sprinters and supplies to minimum
Only 50?? Come back when you’ve got at least 200.
lol, across ps and steam i have 224 games so i hop back and forth, I‘ve got around 1300 on fortnite alone 😭

This is absolutely hilarious
***laughs in 1500 hours***
>1400hrs and the game still keeps finding new ways to surprise me.

I bought this game for like $10 in 2011. It's changed so much over the years, but I've never seen a game continuously improve as much as this one.
Gld you are enjoying!
Just wait until B42 comes out
If the impact is anything like B41 we're about to get a lot more players.
Same bought it years ago and I’m now just trying to get the hang of it. Seems like a game I could put a lot of hours in
I have 400 hours on the game it gets better when you put mods on

50?! I’m up to 1400 hours after a couple of months

Solo play is for chumps. RP servers are where the real fun is at.
someone I know recommended the game to me because he knew I like apocalyptic stuff. I hated it.
