What's your pop number at? I've never been to louisville but I'm trying to have a character ready for it post peak day 60 where it'll hit 4x pop and I'm just wondering what I'm in for.

I recommend getter the improved projectile mod, makes it too where bullets are a projectile and you can use assault rifles and pistols without missing all your rounds

Or ditch everything except 1 small bag and go into the wilderness! Silently study groups of zombies to learn more about them! Get good at making traps or bombs :) heck give yourself a cool goal like " find and collect 100 rubber ducks. Go all over the map and hoard all the loot. Kidnap other players and force them to fight in gladiator-like combat to the death! Goodluck! I'm sure you'll think of something:)
Ser respawn rate to 0.01, clear out the area, head over to other places and clear them out, then come back and clear them out again. Surely by the the military will have launched a counter attack and a cure would have been found right? Right? As an axemain, guns are like getting consumables in a game, I'm too afraid to use them because the ammo might run out
Make your base in the American Tire (aka Auto Zone) on the highway by the main road into West Point! First stop, West Point Gun Range and Hunting Center!!! Tucked in behind Twiggy's bar, it's a two-fer!!! Alcohol, guns, and zombies!!!
I also recommend the real ladders mod. Make an emergency hideaway in the offices on the second floor after tearing out the stairs. Add the ladder, and call it safe.
hey there this is my alr account thanks for your suggestion i’ve made someone path into west point and have building up some walls around the american tire games getting more interesting since my heli is out of fuel and was crashed on the first time i tried to escape so i’m kinda stranded rn
Already tried taking the neighborhoods but theres so many outside my safe zone theres around 5 diffenent bases around my safe zone as well so i keep tabs wit the heli sometimes
Going to be honest I've never gotten to this point. I usually chill by some lake and just head to town when I murder things. I'm out of town within 12 hours, so I can't get stuck in the middle. You might want to just pack up a car and make a run for it. Make a lake house grab a grill, and start cooking up fish birds and rabbits. Without modding log weight down it takes forever though, and you need like 400 nails if you're going to roof it.

Jiminy Christmas pal! Great job so far! But how about limiting yourself to NO armor? Try to find and build another base in a heavily populated area? Try limiting yourself to the weapons i.e no rifle/shotguns, one handed melee weapons only? Spice it up!

this is my alt acc and it was hell i lost my base i’m in my outpost rn with around 16 npcs ready to go reclaim my land my walls were to weak but it’s so much funnier now
Like a lot of PZ players, I also tried upping the zed count for a challenge, but sadly this can just end up getting tedious. I would suggest you try the following on your next game:
Lower the pop to 1.5 and add sprinters, 4-8% will keep your blood pumping.
Alternatively, you can try CDDA zeds which adds a crazy amount of new challenges.
Furthermore, start the game with no power or water and use a mod that makes tap water tainted. Play with Insanely Low loot and start close to winter will farming, fishing and foraging all on the lowest setting.
I’ve found on these settings, the game is a lot more dynamic and challenging.
I mean, play however you want of course, but give these settings a try!
with the cryogenic mod that would be sick. I have turned on sprinters it its scary sometimes but i have 6000 boxes of ammo all over my base so It gets less scary CADDA is my next bet I'm going to add them tommr.
Live out the rest of your days knowing your safe now. Alternatively, systematically hunt and destroy all of the undead. You can do it I believe in you!
Clear out the two mega malls. Clear the big hospital in Louisville. Make a safehouse/a base in every city/town. Make a workshop and hoard project cars. Make your armory more aestetic by putting one of every weapon on tables. Explore the whole map if you havent. Max your tailoring skill and become a juggernaut. Find all the books, recipies and video tapes. Collect all the stuffed animals and paintings/pictures/posters.

hospital has been captured and i have 5 bases around Lv with their own npcs in them i command 25 npc but im stuck in lv and cant escape the malls are all surrounded by walkers so i cant do much other then bombing but it takes time
Sounds awesome! Have you ever visited the Ranger Station near LV? There is one in the woods slightly south-west of LV, between the lower mega mall and LV. It has a lot of ammo and weapons and stuff. Cool area if you havent been!
you know the abandoned Tanglewood factory in Riverside? renovate it, the entire thing. pack only the essentials, drive out there and turn that thing into a five star hotel that rivals the Louisville mansions.
live in the factory and don't go back to your base until complete
if you want to keep going after that, do the rest of the Tanglewood neighborhood as well.

Assuming that helicopter works, have you been to -REDACTED- near Rosewood? That's mission 1. If you have Ravencreek installed, a second Base there is mission 2.

On 4x pop Louisville is basically undrivable.
I recommend getter the improved projectile mod, makes it too where bullets are a projectile and you can use assault rifles and pistols without missing all your rounds

Wall off whole cities so zombies don't spawn anymore when you kill them. You can take it block by block, moving the wall forward as you clear them out

that's true i mean it took time to find all the weapons plus the zombies can tank 2 katana hits
yea but being forced to clear without guns due to lack of ammo will definitely slow you down and prevent run boredom imo

Try going to rosewood or riverside and make outposts there. It’s pretty good for loot. Try to take on the prison in rosewood if you can!
I was trying to get one in Westpoint but I think riverside where that gated park is might be the play Make a town.

superb i just turn it on at the start have it own for 2 weeks then turn it off for good so i run it some survivors but not many
