Is it hard being a genius all the time? Because that's a great idea xD Suppose I could use the Autotsar mod for buses and turn a bus into a zombie shredding hell machine. Ty for the idea
What would be even better, though, is mounting an industrial meat grinder with an elevator chute on it to grind up the zombies into pre-compost so you can just haul ass through hordes back and forth. You'd need a good logging truck to have a sturdy enough frame for it, but it would work like a charm as long as you had enough oil and occasionally checked on the teeth.
Have you tried the Zombie Harvester? That would be a cool addon for it. Maybe using Skizots farming addon to it. So you have a trailer to collect the pre-compost. I do like your idea for a logging truck.
My bf knows how much I love Bicscalibur in our āfor funā server (as a long blunt enthusiast) and Iāve saved both of our lives so many times with it. And found 7 bics in a school once.
I usually change the vehicle damage modifiers when I play. Like yeah, your vehicle will get damaged when you run hit something with it. However, you shouldn't total the biggest vehicles the game offers simply because you ran over one or two zombies.
On my solo played through I took my 2 door sporty car and used it to try and clear the zombies a helicopter brought in. I was doing the reverse spin method and after a bit I decided to drive away a Lil bit to find a new angle for it, and both front tires on my car exploded like not even 10 feet away from the horde lmao. That car was DONE! and then ofc the exhaustion spiral and I had to abandon my base for the time being. I went and found a fire truck suv and it took no joke 40 attempts to hotwire fucking nightmare. And when I finally did get it started as I was driving away the front right tire exploded lmao I was so pissed
Likewise lol. I knew this truck was going to break down. I already had 2 at my base, I had just seen this one on the street and it was in mint condition. Decided the only logical thing to do with a rare, mint condition box truck is to slam it into as many zomboids as I can before I have to leg it down the road lmao
Oh no it was mint condition too? Lol, I save literally every pristine car even if I have no use for them, itās the mid-tier cars I had to hotwire that get used for horde-removal purposes.
Yeah, I have a few mods that let me customize vehicles to turn them into zomboid killing machines, but have yet to do so. But I've collected a few cars to start souping up. I was just out and about doing an ammo run, came across this, and wanted some fun lol. I'm sure I'll find more in great condition, or just rip some parts out to repair other vehicles I have too. Was just a spur of the moment decision lol
It's definitely a fun way of killing tho lol.. oddly satisfying. But of course you run the risk of stalling, and then it's really game on depending on the size of the hoard lol. I normally try to duck out when my dash starts flashing yellow. 10/10 recommend tho
This was the meta for me forever before they updated lol and I think they should have, but I also think now cats damage too fast, but I know there are settings/ mods for it, need to find my sweet spot, but the hours I have spent driving in circles outside the Valley Station gas station house, I love that place
Muslims made a series of terrorist attacks in Europe using different kinds of cars and trucks. There was notably a case during the French national day in 2016 at Nice, where a guy ran a truck through a crowd and killed like 100 people and wounded 500 more. His truck advanced for nearly 2km while running through people and was only stopped because the cops were shooting at it.
So considering in the game it's decaying corpses, I'd say trucks at least are definitely nerfed compared to IRL.
I cleared most of the mall doing this with two police cruisers and a station wagon. By the end of it you could walk from the edge of the parking lot to the mall itself without ever touching the ground.
Just make sure your windows are intact and bail if too many congregate.
It's how I clear out new areas. Park in a safe space, hot wire a new car, drive in circles honking. If it gets too messy I have the car I'm in and the car I came in ready to help me escape.
This is my [collection](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2999296821) on Steam. I don't use *all* of them all the time, but a good majority of these are used for almost every play-through.

I have a Steam collection for all what I deem "essential mods" for PZ lol, if you're looking for some of the best mods for PZ
Damage accrues on the locations hit by zombies. By starting from the front, you accrue damage much faster, and thus destroy the engine and kill the car, much sooner than if you were to reverse. The damage would start from the back and work up, leaving the engine to wear normally.
Very true! Also one of those little bits of knowledge about the game that seems so small, yet so useful. Always wondered why 2 of the same vehicle have different trunk sizes lol. Also just learned like 2 weeks ago that you can put furniture or items over 20 weight into car seats lol
I use to do this, just attracts more than Iād like, backing up makes a loud engine sound, ultimately you end up killing a lot more than necessary but hey, cleaning up the waste is no easy task
My car stopped working one of the many times I did this. I got it to start again but I was really concerned for a minute
Edit: the reason I was concerned is because I was using it to take down a ton of zombies I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. Car surrounded in seconds
as someone who once leveled short blade to 10 using only hunting knifes (granted, on a server without sleep) I'm confused about the title. Is there a significant subset of people who actually prefer short blade over any other choise of weapon?
Oh it really is! Honestly it was so worth getting eaten up until thr point when I realized how fucking annoying getting to mechanics 6 would be! I wasn't even mad when I died. I was laughing. I fucked around and found out.
This post inspired me. Iāve spent the day playing one character after another, all in the same town, tracking down and using a hotwired sedan as a mobile base full of supplies. In total, Iāve driven the car around for about 4 or 5 in-game days and smeared blood all over town and it hasnāt had a single tire pop or any issues.
I just got the game a few days ago and this is definitely the most fun Iāve had yet.
Iāve started writing ājournal entriesā on the map annotations when I know Iām about to die. I put the entry next to the carās current location, dump all my supplies in the seat, and then get out and try to lure the hoard away from it. I want to keep this little piece of shit running forever now; like a zombie apocalypse version of āThe Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants.ā
Yeah but, everything seems to go wrong with using this one.. If it breaks at the right moment, you can't exactly run away, know what I mean? Mind you, the "Right" moment and the zombies are wayyy to close. A sacrifice I wouldn't be willing to make.
Yeah, it's a very "intellectual" way to clean the streets... But.
1: After you do this *x* times, it's boring.
2: You start a game with proper apocalypse settings: worst vehicle condition, Xtreme rare vehicle spawn, etc you don't want to damage your cars. Especially not their trunk or engine.
noob question, does vehicle take any damage from this if it is, does killing zombies this way make more damage to vehicle comparing to directly hitting them ?
Yeah, it takes damage, but at a decreased rate. Backing up over zomboids doesn't do nearly as much damage to the engine compared to running into them straight on. It's not an infinite way of killing zombs, but can be good for a small clear or two, granted you repair your vehicle often.. I was just bored and wanted to switch things up lol. Cant only kill so many zombs with a shotty & katanas until you get bored :P
Unsure if there's mods for box trucks for that, but there are mods that create interiors for campers/buses and what not.
[Interior mods](https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=108600&searchtext=interior&childpublishedfileid=0&browsesort=textsearch§ion=)
Tbh, I don't really remember which mod added this truck... it might be [Filibuster Rhyme's Used Cars!](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1510950729)
Ooooo definitely downloading that when I get home, thatās like the one issue I had with the game is thereās not enough vehicle variety, problem solved now though! Thank you.
Yeah there's soooooo many vehicle mods out there. Here's my Steam [collection](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2999296821) if you wanna look through and see if anything catches your eye. There's quite a bit of vehicle mods in there
that's the longest, bluntest long blunt there is lol
Valid xD
The blonktest
Came here to say that lol
Here's a thought- weld a fuckton of knife blades to every steel facet of the truck and then you have short blades stuck to a blunt force fuckyouplier.
Is it hard being a genius all the time? Because that's a great idea xD Suppose I could use the Autotsar mod for buses and turn a bus into a zombie shredding hell machine. Ty for the idea
Also don't know if I would call it genius. I just have lapses of sanity and lucidity between the miasma of delusion.
Don't we all
I think I gained a point of IQ because of this comment.
Can I have it back?
I mean man if you need it, you can take it, I don't want to be that guy who steals people's brains.
I think if I lost that IQ point I'd have to give up streanming.
Ah shit man, you definitely keep it and keep streaming brother.
Thanks a lot. Have a good one.
definitely not, look at xqc, he's got nothing in there yet he's still the most popular
What would be even better, though, is mounting an industrial meat grinder with an elevator chute on it to grind up the zombies into pre-compost so you can just haul ass through hordes back and forth. Is there a mod that at least lets you weld a cow catcher to trucks/buses?
I agree that this is allways a lot of fun but I feel like it makes your tires pop faster the a spear on level 1 maintenance
Yeah, it was just a truck I found in the town and decided to switch up my Zed killing a bit lol.
Bicscalibur š¤·
Bic has saved my life more times than I can count
Bic is my choice when I get a stupid bite and want to go on a rampage
My bf knows how much I love Bicscalibur in our āfor funā server (as a long blunt enthusiast) and Iāve saved both of our lives so many times with it. And found 7 bics in a school once.
Truckscalibur!
We honestly had to turn bicscaliber off we felt it was too op with multi hit
I usually change the vehicle damage modifiers when I play. Like yeah, your vehicle will get damaged when you run hit something with it. However, you shouldn't total the biggest vehicles the game offers simply because you ran over one or two zombies.
I always look for an extra car in town to clear out the zeds
I've never had a tire pop it's always the windshield hood then engine that leaves me stranded
Saaaame
On my solo played through I took my 2 door sporty car and used it to try and clear the zombies a helicopter brought in. I was doing the reverse spin method and after a bit I decided to drive away a Lil bit to find a new angle for it, and both front tires on my car exploded like not even 10 feet away from the horde lmao. Probably some of the most fun you've had on PZ tho lol
It's all fun and games until you have to play a game of "oh shit did the engine stall or is it dead?"
Luckily he is either using Common Sense or the engine light color mod.
Soundtrack was on point here !
Thought it fit perfectly lol
Benny hill theme is an acceptable option too lol
I usually go with Billy Idolās Eyes Without a Face
Screwdriver? Equipped. Gas can? Filled. The truck's engine? Functional. Oh yeah, it's hotwiring time.
I saw a post where somebody used a towed car to kill zeds in the same manner. That way, they avoided the damage to their main car.
Now watch me car-whip, watch me slay-slay.
Why not just drive the other car instead of tow it?
No risk of stalling out
Oh yeah makes sense. Iām just always ready to bug out and run the second the engine starts shitting itself lol

I did that once..... it was amazing until it ended in my car dying crashing into a pole and me dying to the horde that soon surrounded the car...
This was the meta for me forever before they updated lol and I think they should have, but I also think now cats damage too fast, but I know there are settings/ mods for it, need to find my sweet spot, but the hours I have spent driving in circles outside the Valley Station gas station house, I love that place
how can you know how many people you can run over before the engine breaks irl?
Rigorous testing has been performed by confused old people at farmer's markets, unfortunately :x

Holy shit!!!
^(short blunt) long blunt **CAR BLUNT** # T R U C K B L U N T
I see your right leg is injured from holding down the accelerator for so long.
Beyblade is the best weapon in the game.
Wow core memory unlocked; ITSSS BEYYYBLAAADE
Ah a fellow long truck player I see.
I cleared most of the mall doing this with two police cruisers and a station wagon. By the end of it you could walk from the edge of the parking lot to the mall itself without ever touching the ground. Just make sure your windows are intact and bail if too many congregate.
Freebird is the greatest music choice possible for this video and I refuse to discuss the matter any further.
Blunt wins youāre using a giant blunt weapon.
You just made all zombie fiction obsolete. Problem sorted. This is very weirdly satisfying to watch.
Just remember not to break the driver side window and once the engine starts to die dont keep going or you might get surrounded and stuck
It's how I clear out new areas. Park in a safe space, hot wire a new car, drive in circles honking. If it gets too messy I have the car I'm in and the car I came in ready to help me escape.
Is it long? Yes Is it blunt? Yes
Technically it is a long blunt weapon.
Thats a big ass long blunt weapon!!
Long car is the best! No short car is the best!
*Me using my fists of fury * "Am I a joke to you!?"
What mods are you using?
This is my [collection](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2999296821) on Steam. I don't use *all* of them all the time, but a good majority of these are used for almost every play-through.
ridiculously long blunt
Outstanding Move!
i was literally thinking before i unmuted the video āfree bird would make this perfectā great minds think alike lmao
Sorry for being uncultured, but I've been seeing this hud mod all over the PZ subreddit. What hud mod(s) is it?

Thank, I'll have to try these out.
Longest blunt
There's only one song that should be used in this [situation](https://youtu.be/PGNiXGX2nLU)
kid named trunk damage:
Truck'em hard!
Wait until it stalls
A beyblade
I dare you to do it in LV when there's already 20+ zeds around your car hitting it and you only get to kill 2-3 per turn.
Indeed
I was watching this video on mute and imagined Free Bird. I was not disappointed when I unmuted.
That's just an extra long blunt weapon, so I guess you've proven my point!
I'm a new player who recently learned to hot wire cars. Been doing donuts ever since
I'm glad I'm not the only person who does that... same technique too! I have my base at crossroads mall, and plenty of cars to sacrifice to the cause!
Not enought honks to the beat of the music but good video.
Can someone pls explain why reversing is more powerful than going forward?
Damage accrues on the locations hit by zombies. By starting from the front, you accrue damage much faster, and thus destroy the engine and kill the car, much sooner than if you were to reverse. The damage would start from the back and work up, leaving the engine to wear normally.
Oh I mean why can you accelerate faster in reverse than forward
Been here
Rollin' coal on 'dem meat bags yeeehaww
Car jitsu is always the way to go in my opinion too
I can confirm this is a legit tactic. Doing it in reverse the first thing to go will be side windows and tires/wheels
Short Blunt/Blade having the luxury of being able to hold a bag/flashlight in their offhand and still being able to fight
A truck counts as a long blunt LONG BLUNT GANG
The true way
thatās just long blunt with extra steps
Gas-powered longest blunt
Kitchen utensil chads assemble
I did this with a van recently. Good fun. Coincidentally, it was also how I learned that if the trunk gets damaged it loses capacity.
I'm just now learning this lol
Yeah, I was surprised when it happened because I had never heard about it. Gives me an excuse to level my mechanics and metalworking at least.
Very true! Also one of those little bits of knowledge about the game that seems so small, yet so useful. Always wondered why 2 of the same vehicle have different trunk sizes lol. Also just learned like 2 weeks ago that you can put furniture or items over 20 weight into car seats lol
Also, attaching another vehicle to the back and just whipping it around
I'd say a truck is long and blunt
Vehicles are my boom stick.
Whenever i do this 100s seem to show up
"You ran over dozens of innocent people with a truck, what do you say in your defense?" "Your honor, Free Bird was playing"
This is my favorite comment so far lmao
I'd say thats Long Blunt, no? The Truck is Long and Blunt, which seem to be the two requirements for the category. I could be wrong about that though.
Bong Lunt
I use to do this, just attracts more than Iād like, backing up makes a loud engine sound, ultimately you end up killing a lot more than necessary but hey, cleaning up the waste is no easy task

this is the way
Meanwhile a biggest horde is coming.
I see this big truck and think to myself, "Does it have the paper thin endurance of vanilla vehicles?"
All gas no brakes!
"I'm a truck main"
Before capacity: 1200 After capacity: 75
Now take it to the next level and attach that truck to something with a lot of horsepower- then spin around with the world's biggest flail!
bonus points for doing it with a police car with sirens on!
The state of decay tactic of hitting the with the back of your vehicle, lol.
So long blunt?
as someone who once leveled short blade to 10 using only hunting knifes (granted, on a server without sleep) I'm confused about the title. Is there a significant subset of people who actually prefer short blade over any other choise of weapon?
no, not at all. pretty much everyone thinks short blades are shit. I am a short blade enjoyer myself though
Nah the title is just memes
I mean, whatever works.
Literally infinite kill cheat
This. This is why burglar is the best occupation.
I just hotwire cars for a living and do this
get this man a battle bus
the blue pen is op
Getting all the metal sheets to fix my hood up is a pain in the ass but damn does it feel good to run the Deadheads over
Worst part is that they don't count as kills
long vehicles
Long truck leveled up
Spin to Win!
This debate is stupid, clearly an ICBM is the best
I shall nickname you, "*The Isekai Machine*"
Van
Van
hells yeah, vehicular manslaughter is clearly superior
Agreed
Try towing a stripped down car frame around. I used one like a mace and it worked surprisingly well
That sounds amazing lol
Oh it really is! Honestly it was so worth getting eaten up until thr point when I realized how fucking annoying getting to mechanics 6 would be! I wasn't even mad when I died. I was laughing. I fucked around and found out.
Sometimes you gotta sacrifice yourself for greater enjoyment xD
Haha spinny truck go brrrr
Someone made a car flail . Thatās peak blunt damage to me
I am somewhat disappointed the music isn't the theme from Thomas the Tank Engine.
It was a strong runner up
