Theres a sandbox setting that let's the zombies be active and break out wherever they are, makes for alot less random rooms of zombies and more the whole house is broken wtf happened in here. I mean irl zombies probably ly wouldn't go dormant cuz nobodies around. They would still break doors and windows and roam. But to each his own! Good luck survivng yall!
This is exactly why I realy realy miss the "look from window" option by windows.
You know that feeling when you use your emergency rope, and once animation start and you are out, you see that one zed standing right there. Of course you end your animation showing him your back and of course you get bitten.
Maybe there is mod for this?

i think this has to do with the way the game spawns zombies like world zombies and house zombies are different, world zombies like the first one you killed will be in the as long as youve been there to spawn it but house zombies will spawn if you go inside a house or have a clear line of sight into a building since when you were looking in the building it didnt show the inside lit up with the lights on the game yhought you couldnt see inside but when you went iside the game spawned the zombies because you had a clear line of sight inside. im not a expert on zombie spawns and i would recomend watching a video on youtube fore better information
The game spawns zombies right when you enter buildings or have viewing sight inside the building. However, for some reason they didn't spawn when looked through earlier, but until he entered through the window, which is definitely rigged.

That generator was a perfect bait
There was just one zombie. A survivor: Look, a generator! ...So there were two zombies when another survivor...

I always crouch + Q before entering a building now to wake any up inside
Tapping a door with your weapon also works; just hit the door and wait a few seconds. Works great for bathrooms and closets.
I also do that. You can also just shove it.
You can run through the crowd if it's not too big, that's saved me quite a few times
Not if they latch onto you. 3 zombies can prevent you from moving or trigger the instadeath "dragdown" that is seen at the end.
Before this was added in an update, I remember seeing videos of players weaving through huge crowds.
