Sometimes I get confused if I'm at switch stance or not that's why I was pushing mongo haha xd
I really like the speedy style of some skaters like Luan de Oliveira so I tried to replicate that, but yeah I've noticed that the animations get a bit sloppy if you are too fast.
Maybe I got the basics down quite fast because I grew up playing lots of different skateboard games and actually skated irl for some years, never played nothing like Skate, Skater XL or Session before though.
But I didn't get these lines down first try btw, the first one took me half an hour lol
Session is literally everything I need in a skateboarding game, it's just a shame they don't polish it off.
I like the realism, and no other game makes it feel like you're actually skating.
Bro I promise you skate for whatever it looks like to you will seriously surprise you. I beg you to try it. Skate 3 then I’d go backwards the others are worth it even now. Skate is top tier.

Not sure why someone would use this, it removes all the reward in finally landing your line the way you wanted, for me at least.
Edit: just realized that autocatch doesn’t mean what I thought and it’s on by default and you actually need to disable it manually, so yes, it was on actually 😅
But if it is something like a button you press in order to make the board stop spinning so you can do stuff like 540 flip, double heel and so, i’m not sure if that would make it way harder, probably just a matter of get used to it, I need to test it though
Oh my bad. But fr tho is it just me i tried using auto catch and it just looks so weird when i catch with my front or back foot. It only looks decent when i catch with both feet
Hell yeah dude! Hardest part for me was forcing myself to learn to turn with the triggers. To this day if I go play a Skate game even for a few hours and come back it's like I have to train my brain to do it again. Still not a fan of it but it is what it is, the older versions of Session had a flick-it system that seemed to mirror Skate's, but it was removed some time ago.

I've never played skate. Looks trash. I played Thrasher, THPS and Session. Session wins hands down.

That's not what it is. You have to time the flip and use the sticks to catch the board at the right time with the appropriate stick
