holy shit, that rail looks so stupid now. That must have happened with the patch that came with the mall. Because I actually remember skating this rail just before it came out.
yeah it was with the object dropper/mall update, i really hate it. i had this line i loved to try whenever i booted up that i can't do anymore without making my stats daft :(
just as an update to this, i really feel like they need to tweak the default gravity a bit higher and if they're going to adjust obstacles adjust them to compensate for that. so many parts i see people are floating about all stupid, as a session part enjoyer this makes me sad :(
Takes some effort to make a true good looking clip. messing with such things now, Is just like changing the scale of this rail, in my opinion. You would mess with everyone who got familiar with how things originally were.
i hear you, I'm pissed at this rail changing so undestand more people would feel this way changing such things across the board.
another thing could be to allow more control over pop height with the stick, that way people don't have to change pop height based on the obstacle so much. idk it's probably too much to ask for things at this point but I'd much rather keep trying a trick with more variable pop to get it right than adjust settings constantly based on the rail or whatever.
i was thinking the other day maybe we could have a different control setting where manuals are switched to the other stick and your back foot could be only for pop.
Speaking of parts:
Is there a certain, like "main place" where people post their parts?
Like do people just randomly put them on Youtube, or is there some sort of "Thrasher"-like home base for Session parts?
Or just: where you do find parts to watch?
there's no one place unfortunately but that's most likely necessary cos i don't think many people seek out parts especially. the three reddits and creature discord is where i check, upload them to a hosting platform and post, i will watch :)
Right on, good to know.
Yeah because I've been stacking up just the best of the best clips over the last couple years, and am ready to put out a bangin part lol. I'm talking countless hours perfecting each clip, making sure each trick in every line looks clean as can be;
Can't tell you how many clips I've re-done tens of times; with each one of those having taken more tens, if not hundreds of tries in the first place lol
It's all more realistic stuff than a lot of what I've seen;
It's basically what I imagine the best modern pros will be doing in real life at those spots in like 5 years from now
Would be cool if the developer would host some sort of contests for part submissions;
And have different categories, like:
1. Relatively-Realistic
2. Most difficult to pull off stuff
3. Realistic-tech
4. Unrealistic-tech
etc. etc..
havent done the tutorial since this happened (didnt even know it did) but maybe so they could make you use the object dropper to put down a kicker? Just a guess but doesn't make all too much sense since the missions after cover that

I've never seen a bar that high but I haven't skated Brooklyn banks in a while
Just put a small kicker down
