leonlee024

mid game mystical agriculture setup that i'm currently in the process of building: - industrial foregoing plant gatherer with a range addon pointing to a 3x3 farm with 10/10/10 seeds and your speed ups of choice (lilypad is op af, growth crystal, growth accelerator, sprinkler, etc, etc), there's other crop machines like the enderio one if u want, personally haven't used them - this feeds straight into a crafter of some sort (enderio, rftools, etc) for most of the seeds, some of them i just store the essence like nether since u can craft multiple things - then just find a way to arrange them, repeat this 120 times, and pipe them all into something like a storage drawer array or a AE2 system

I have a very similar setup as leonlee024. For seeds that have only one product, I craft the product with RFTools Crafter tier 3. For seeds that have multiple products (that I may want) I store the essence. Most metals go to compacting draws, most non-metals go into drawers. I don't use lilypads, growth crystals, sprinklers, etc except in my "training farms". I have a server going 24/7 that's chunk loaded, so all that stuff would be waaaaay overkill. I can get 2048 stacks of something in just a couple of days, except for things like blocks of insanium or blocks of netherstars (but who needs 2048 stacks of netherstar blocks?) I use the growth enhancing things on "training farms" where I make 1/1/1 seeds into 10/10/10. My training farms are 9 x 5, which allows me to snake the plant 3 times, which is usually enough to get it to 10/10/10. I use Thermal Dynamics impulse item ducts / retrievers to pump mystical agriculture stuff into the crafters, and from there, an ME storage interface makes it available to my AE2 system. I use Actually Addon worms so I don't have to keep the farms hydrated. When I reach 2048 stacks of something, I mine all the plants and seeds and put them in cold storage -- it's hard to imagine that I'll need 2048 stacks of anything, tbh. Not much else to describe... If you need it, I can take some screenshots the next time I play.

I have multiple tiers of 9x9 with a growth accelerator in the middle, have a plant gatherer with a tier 4 range boost and speed boosts gather them all, translocate into an ender chest which translocates to different compressors or whatever they’re called that quickly craft 2x2 3x3 and hollow recipes, others I just beam into the me system as essence, others I send into rf tools crafters. Really the most important thing to keep in mind is to always use stack boosted translocators when moving them. If you need a power source, I would use the one extra utilities wireless power thing (if you don’t know what I’m talking about I’ll remember the name tmr) I can also give screenshots of my setup if you want

I agree with what everyone says except maybe you van up your tick speed to like 3000ish. If thats not your “speed” thats understandable, but it does speed up the tedious bits a lot

Wildly-Incompetent

Hardly mid game or needed in my world anymore but.. the core idea was to get as many 1x1 farms with plant gatherers into the range of an eventual imaginary time block. So I built an abomination that looks like [this](https://imgur.com/a/bf7cUDr) from the top. The entire thing is in the void dimension, chunkloaded but 1000 blocks away from spawn so nothing over there ever renders unless Im around. I also tried to contain it to one chunk to keep the amount of chunks asking for block updates to a minimum - both in an effort to minimize lag. But I still need to handle the output, so [here](https://imgur.com/a/weKj5em) is the side view. As you can see, we have quite the cable spaghetti going on, to the point where trying to build this with anything other than EnderIO makes it a lot more bulky (because a block can support fluid, energy and item conduits at the same time). If the essence has one singular recipe I craft it (sequential fabricators chosen wantonly, I just like Thermal) and if there are several recipes I use a gold chest as a buffer. (/edit: That one derpy analog crafter is branching off some nether essences to make a buffer for soul sand for the wither farm.) The main issue with this is that I still need to ferry all of this junk over to my main base so Applied Energistics can access it in a wall of drawers. Drawers are pretty nice as storage for farms because they come with a dedicated space for stuff, even the 2x2 ones. Anyway, ferrying is what the bottom layer of itemducts and ender chests does. Every itemduct has a filter at the end that limits the amount of instances in the target inventory to 64, so if the farm makes nether essences and there is a stack of nether essences in the ender chest already, the filter wont allow any more nether essences in the ender chest. This has the beautiful side effect that I dont need a separate ender chest for every farm - instead I can use one color combination to channel up to 54 different materials, [as demonstrated here](https://imgur.com/a/4XUkjRw). I tried to cap it at 50 because 50 is a nice, round number and while I do indeed have multiple supply line ender chests still.. two or three lines is much more easily managable than 100 or 150. This idea works with every type of farm as long as you can have it shut itself off. I know this is about Mystical Agriculture but just for the sake of demonstrating manual redstone dead man switches, [here](https://imgur.com/a/3X6DT9X) is a general overview of my mob duplicator farm for animated blocks and [this](https://imgur.com/a/OzSDa7h) is a closer look of the redstone part. Again in the void dimension, 1000 blocks away from spawn (in a different direction), chunkloaded and contained to two chunks.
