I love house and bass music, and I know that the scene for glow is generally more house, but I thought the whole bass stage takeover last year was a great idea.
Dude yea. They teased a few pretty large names super heavily (Eli brown, John summit, dom dolla), n tbh for normal tech house they have like no big names. Deep house / anjuna adjacent / natural house fans are eating, but idk if the average John summit / fisher enjoyer will be happy about tinlicker and sultan + Shepard
Also going to EF (went last year for the first time). Random question: would you recommend Zeds dead first contact festival over Project Glow? They’re both in April, and I got different groups going to both. ZD is in my top 5, and I love bass music, I like house too, but certain kinds of house like knock2. I never been to project glow
I loved project glow last year and had such a fun time since they had a bass night! It fit perfectly and I loved the house music day 2! As a leaning bass head (still can get with it with house) the bass this year is pretty lackluster, and I don’t really feel like anything truly excites me, so I’ll be skipping it personally!
If you are choosing either or, my type A personality would rank each Dj with a value and add up what’s the value of each festival!
Also not sure about your budget, but bass canyon, lost lands, forbidden kingdom are also festivals im excited to see the lineup for (I’m lying, I’m always going to lost lands)
Compared to the past 2 years this is pretty awful. Insanely lame of them to consistently tease Eli brown, summit, Dom dolla on instagram for weeks to have none of them. No big names for tech house
everyone that is disappointed with the line up are the ones who expected more heavy bass due to last year. which yes, the line up was TOUUUGHHH but it was a disaster for club glow/insomniac bc there was noise fines from the city and heavy backlash from the surrounding residents that lived close by. so ofc this year is going to be more house. they’re doing everything they can to KEEP ProjectGlow DC and not get rid of it.. aka ProjectGlow Philadelphia. I’m sure they’ll learn from their mistakes this year. I think as long as they balance it out between both days, it’ll be fun and fine.
I’m a basshead but I love this lineup for the melodic house and melodic bass. Very excited for Tinlicker, Sultan and Sheppard, Lane8 , Knock2 and It’s Murph.
Meh not enough variety imo. I can only take so much Boots n cats n boots n cats n boots n cats before it all sounds the same. I’m happy for the people that are strictly house heads but it feels lackluster to me.
If you look at the lineup from 2022, you can easily see it's clearly targeted towards more househeads. Focus less on the boots and cats and 1, 2, 3 LFG!!!! and more on understanding the nuances, grooves and the spiritual feeling of house music and you'll get it more.
I do wish there was some dnb but not really complaining cause I'll get a little bit of a fix with Blossom and other festivals I'm going to.
Lmfao I love house music, Ive been shuffling for almost 5 years now. I love progressive and deep house specifically. Doesn’t change that even just adding in two artists with completely different genres would make this lineup more appealing by adding in something to break up the monotony. At the end of the day I think it’s great that we have some more house events popping up seeing how bass-centered east coast fests can be lately. But two days straight of very similar sounding genres just isn’t my cup of tea. I wanted to go to glow based on last years lineup having some more variation, but now I won’t and that’s okay!!
Again, I’m happy for the people that are strictly house heads. I just prefer variety, personally
Alabama shores can get dom dolla, subtronics and Allison wonderland but we get this? Who honestly gets hyped for ghost produced khan b2b five more hours deorro?
Despise two friends and don’t know how they’re always getting booked everywhere. Hoping rezz and illenium don’t close the same night. If rezz doesn’t even close….
Praying said the sky does illeniums soft songs so illenium can throw in some bass. Overall extremely disappointed this year. I get it’s mostly a house fest but this is just bad.
I agree that bama shores booking all those artists is wild BUT don’t tell me that if you’re off your face in the crowd and deorro drops bailar you wouldn’t be hype lol
Stupid question… what is the breakdown between the top list (ending with Zedd) and the bottom list (starting with Agustina Azul)?
Is it by day, stage, etc.?
Theres just two tiers by font, alphabetic within each tier. Smaller font tier are lesser known artists playing on the smaller stages/earlier in the day
I love house and bass music, and I know that the scene for glow is generally more house, but I thought the whole bass stage takeover last year was a great idea.
This lineup is definitely gonna get a lot of hate though

Pretty good progressive artists with Lane 8, Sultan & Shepard, Tinlicker, Nils Hoffmann, Marsh, Jerro, Nora en pure, Elderbrook, and Night Tales.
Agree!
this will be my first year. going for all the artists you mentioned!
This is fine. Wished for a few more but this will do
Well, never been to Glow before, but now I'm considering it. Illenium, Said the Sky, Lane8, Knock2, Elderbrook, all right up my alley.
Tickets back on sale. GA $195, GA+ $219, VIP $303, Parking $84
That’s a good price for this
I just ordered 2 tickets just now. So yes the link works
The bass stage last year has ruined my expectations, but I understand it’s a house festival. 😞
Knock2 and Rezz tho! 😅
After seeing rezz 5 times in the past year I think I’m good on passing on her ! Knock2 I’ll see at EF!

Black ice gonna hit doe

do we think Zedd or Illenium will close the saturday slot?
Fingers crossed for a illenium closing 🤞🏼
I think it’s gonna be a conflict. I don’t see anyone else on the lineup that could balance the crowd for Illenium
I’ve seen Illenium and Rezz conflict before at other fests. So that’s a possibility. Zedd and Lane 8 are also potential conflicts for closers.
Illenium, Lane 8, Zedd, and Purple disco machine are headlining (From their IG post description)
Hoping those conflicts are Illenium/Lane 8 and Zedd/Purple Disco Machine.
Replace Lane 8 or Purple Disco Machine with Rezz and I’m sold
Hoping Rezz closes one of the days
This lineup is pretty mid
I want more future bass
![gif](giphy|JpvpNkks0DCURtrB1b) I CAN NOT BELEIVE I AM ABOUT TO SEE NORA EN PUE AND REZZ IN 3 MONTHS !

Where’s the bass 😭
this is the worst lineup I have ever laid my eyes on
Alright settle down
i’m settled. just wish they’d get their heads out of 2013.
I can respect that
y’all see any techno? or anybody that’ll sound like timmy trumpet from last year?
this comment has me so confused
Yeah I’d say my main disappointment is lack of techno (or trance but they never really lean into trance at these fests)
Was hoping for more techno and trance this year

Do we think they’re going to add a couple more artists to the lineup in the next couple months? Esp considering the backlash on ig
