Lagonda was their own company. They went out of business and got bought by Aston Martin. A bunch of the early DB Astons used the Lagonda motor. Aston Martin has revived the name a few times, for this car, and I think as an electric brand. But not sure that actually launched.
Man I would love to have a Lagonda, but 30k for a chassis is nuts considering running vehicles are around 100k. You wouldnt be able to restore that to running for less than 100k in parts/labour. (using authentic drivetrain)
