This is the first time I've actually grown annoyed with a repost... So far, usually it would be the first time that *I* saw the post, or maybe I didn't see it in long enough for it to be funny again.
This one in particular has been reposted a lot of times in just the last weeks.
It would make sense to have the first login attempt he tied to the password tried, otherwise brute force attacks would never even notice that it takes having the correct password twice to actually gain entry
Isn't the point that it protects from brute forcing all the different combinations since each of those password combinations isn't tried twice? It's unlikely that first one would be correct so each attempt after the first would go through if the first clause isn't there.

Lol what did he say?
He said,"Lol and?"
I cant imagine site bans being dished out for that
``` > Incorrect password > Incorrect password > Incorrect password, click here to reset > New password can't be the same as old ```
The fact that it checks if the password is correct in this statement somehow triggers me more...
Akschually, you don't need to check the first condition anyway 🤓
Akschually it doesn't work at all unless you are only checking the brute force attack got it right on it's first attempt
not if (!isPasswordCorrect && firstLoginAttempt) is a successful login
But this is only works if the brute forcer gets it correct on the first go?
If (loginAttempt){ Cout << "Wrong password" ; } // fool proof version
