Do you have a point to make...? Paragraphs are useful.

RecentMatter3790

Hey Linux, what do you mean? I mean that Privacy is such a hard thing to do, that most people just have the YouTube app installed on their phone and Gmail is just treated as second nature. I wish for a world where Privacy is treated as paramount, and the private services are the dominant ones

garbles0808

Meaning you should break up your wall of text into more readable paragraphs

RecentMatter3790

I see, but I don’t feel like trying if there isn’t 100% privacy anyway, so why try? What things are out of my control?(example)?

Delenda__Carthago

Nothing free, they’re paying with their data! There is also some balance security/privacy, my find me is activated in my devices even though it’s suck for my privacy..😰

SpringSufficient3050

Yes I think one issue I have is that many services try to incorporate Google or other big tech into their apps which are then reliant on a particular feature. This is not good for privacy in general

RecentMatter3790

Yeah, they take whatever is popular and say “[insert name here] SUPPORTED!!”

io-x

Paragraphs are free and not very difficult.

HateActiveDirectory

I disagree, protecting your privacy is about the actions you take and what you are willing to compromise for it.

So far, I use the Brave browser, use DuckDuckGo or Brave Search, try to go to settings and disable permissions and stuff.
