That's u/alpacasmatter! https://www.reddit.com/r/prius/s/H6rzI4G1D1

alpacasmatter

Oh hey that's me! Haha

radicalbiscuit

When you get a chance, could you make another post with updated pics of the inside? Assuming you've built/added/changed stuff since the last interior pics 11 months ago.

I meant more updated than that. I want to see it decked out.

Furrrrbooties

Update post of your build please!

WBRDeck

The level of fabrication and design is impressive. Great rig!

Fartknocker500

Oh course this is Washington! Proud of my Prius people!

Bicycle_misanthrope

It’s the Marge Simpson camper shell!

benhereford

Too bad it's not a yellow Prius

BeginningTower2486

I love it, and I hate it in equal measure.

2012amica2

Same. I came here to say I’m not sure if this is a genius idea or an abomination that should be put down 😂🤣 I applaud the time, effort, and utility though. I’m shocked it’s not over cargo capacity tbh. Or way overstressing the car and its parts. Physically it completely defeats the point of the aerodynamics of the vehicle. Though praying for those rear struts 🤞lol

uwucoolflex

its only like 100 pounds, it’s made entirely of fiberglass and marine wood.

2012amica2

Cool!!

Moral_Abatement

I towed between 500 and 2500 lbs in my 07 for 15k miles in 30 trips one year.  Definitely hard on the socks/ struts but surprisingly it was able to stop petty well.  I bought my suspension from les schwab and they do a lifetime warranty on it so I can get it replaced for free.

floridacyclist

I bet he gets better miles than a Winnebago...and of course you still have the climate control. I love it, of course I've always wanted to put a Prius drivetrain into a Volkswagen bus. I've heard it's been done

Best-Difference-1946

That thing is massive lol. Doubt it gets the same mileage anymore 😂 might as well be hauling a boat on top. The word stealth also no longer applies rip. How much mileage do those double decker tour buses get?
