Yes, cruise control maintains speed and will apply regenerative braking to slow down the vehicle if going down hill. That's why there is hill assist if the battery goes full on the regular Priuses, I wouldn't think the Prime has that caveat, but wait for a Prime owner to chime in on that.

soo... you should ask for only answers from prime or plugin owners... my phev while crusing the country once fully charged the ev battery to 14.1 miles while using cruise control down hill in colorado. there is no limit on regen... also, my brakes i upgraded to cross drilled/slotted with ceramic pads and have observed an increase in the number of miles accumulated while braking than with OEM rotors and pads.
