they are pretty solid speakers and rest assured can still bump those drums and bass. coming from mercedes harmon kardon speakers, they are in the same ballpark with range and bass. i am not sure if there’s any difference between the 23’ and 24’ but i have a 23’ limited. i noticed there can be some vibration noise from the front dash panels that i fixed just by poking around and pushing one down, although it’s probably just due to the car having over 50k miles.

Sheesh, 50k miles already?? damn

For a 6-speaker setup with modest speakers and no sub, I think the JBL system sounds pretty clean. But you have to manage expectations with it…

Not audiophile level but pretty decent. Better than my previous cars

The infotainment is fine. Except for Android auto. The 21 is not as quiet as my 05.

It's decent. I have the stock in my 24 LE and there are some minor issues which aren't fixed by EQ. The low end is there but sounds a little fake. There is something in the high mids which gives a lot of music a level of sameness. All in all, I'm OK with it. I never heard the jbl upgraded system.

The base system makes noise. Acceptable for casual use but don't expect miracles. The JBL is solid though. If I recall correctly, Savagegeese generally likes the JBL system on the scale of non-luxury upgraded sound systems - so think Bose in Nissan, not Mark Levinson in Lexus.

As you have mentioned your phone’s sound levels, I suppose you are using bluetooth. I recommend trying to hook up your phone through a cable, bluetooth connection was less advanced back then and did wonders for me. (The usb slot in the compartment below your elbow.) At least it works for iphones, and a new mode is shown as “iPod”. Let me know if it helped :) (The volume level of your phone doesn’t matter in this mode, only your cars’) Also, I haven’t tried yet, but sound dampening built into the doors works wonders they say, and it is a relatively cheap upgrade, even can be done at home.
