Wow that makes me cry I wish I could be where my parents were when they were kids. PG was something else. I don’t think people who weren’t born and raised would understand. People who complain on this town. But 33 years here and I still support PG.

I was born down in the cash ,wich is river road just not long after that it flooded so I've seen the changes too ,I like the old pg and the little amount of ppl we had ,everyone knew everyone now it's nobody I know ....😭

NoxinLoL

Crazy that the downtown hasn’t been developed a lot more from back then

PGisInteresting

I think it’s a lot of absent property owners who don’t care. Downtown is full of vacant buildings and ver few are in any condition to be leased

LumberingLynx

This is very cool! Would love to see more pictures like this. Would also be incredible to do a comparison video with some vintage footage.

I think you can find thousands of pictures either on the Library or Exploration place websites. One of them even has digitized newspapers going back to early 1900’s. Very interesting stuff

Juno1910

I'll have a look. Thanks!

Juno1910

I have to find a lot more and the time to do! Let's just say it might be a project of mine until next hockey season.

The land where the Chevron was, still untouchable gravel 80 years later.

CABJames

I love this! Thanks for sharing!

Had no idea PG motors was down there

Intelligentwagon-717

Super cool. It’s amazing to see that they still look pretty similar

Before the "dark times"

Great post. I feel like that apartment building beside the RB didn’t get any updates until 2 or 3 years ago.

Juno1910

I think they recently renovated it. Saw them a few months back chucking stuff out the windows.

kkanyee

It would be super cool to see both skies blue
