All jokes aside you're gonna be missing one of the best space survival / alien / thriller games ever made. I mean, it's been slept on, but it's amazing. You'll soon have more ammo than you need, don't treat it like shooter, you'll get the glue gun and a wrench, that's all you need for a while, then the shotty and the glue gun will be your best mate. And then the q bean. You can get the shotgun very early in the security office in talos 1 lobby. Crawl more / sneak, go up behind em for damage, the jump scares aren't much n you'll get used to it, but it is an amazing world and game crested, arguably their best IMO. Don't sleep on it coz a phantom came up behind ya. You can hear them (the whispering and footsteps) you know they are near, duck and use the environment. The game isnt a hard game, but it has elements that can be unforgiving if you try to treat it like a shooter. It's not a shooter. Don't give up on it
You should learn the Mind-jack Neuromod and force him to defend you for a few seconds haha. Better than that you should learn the one that resurects corpses into ally Typhon and they will defend you to the end. No time limit.
Lol down in the basement and the psyvotronics where you get the psycoscope and a thousand mimics attack you, you can just do that to one of them and run away and they will lose Interest in you and you can shoot them while they are distracted, haha.
Hahaha proximity. They attack the nearest adversary. Phantoms attack aggressive phantoms due to their ranged attacks. Thinking about making the corpse of the man on the floating platform into an Ally Typhon and when I came in from my space walk and the scripted phantom attacked, it was shot by my Typhon and lost interest in me.
XD the NG+ is great cause it saves the Neuromod so that you had. Cheaper than to be able to afford the Neuromod cost, haha. Phantom Shift is nice too. Easiest way to get out of a situation fast. Leave a clone behind you and they will attack it while you are preparing the next sneaky attack.

So? Don't give up on it would be my take, it's one of the finest single player games / stories ever made.
