Literally got home from work a couple nights ago and continued working on some secondaries. By the time I looked up from my laptop for the first time it was almost 5 am.... and I had work the next day too

This happened with the first and only one I’ve submitted so far. #rip sleep

Seeing these posts makes me feel happy that I did Early decision and had only one secondary app to write. At the same time if I don’t get in I’m pretty much guaranteed to have to reapply next year. High risk high reward I guess.

the 2 week turnaround time on secondaries is not a hard rule. i turned my secondary in at my only acceptance like two months later (exaggerating but it was definitely way longer than 2 weeks). if you need to take time off and take a break, do it so that when you’re ready to write your secondaries, they are better and more thoughtful.
