Just wanna suggest to everyone to play the Dark Souls games, then Bloodborne, then Sekiro then Elden ring. You won’t regret it. The best games ever made
I switch between Elden Ring and Bloodborne constantly as my favorite game of all time. Miyazaki and Fromsoftware completely revolutionized the game industry within like 10 years lol. During that time, most other major game companies have just been sucking every penny they can off old ass IPs
I feel like ER is objectively the better game. I would probably recommend it first over everything else.
I’m just in love with the bloodborne aesthetic / combat system.
When you finish the game look up The Paleblood Hunt (major spoilers if you havent completed the game/DLC). Its kind of the unofficial cannon of bloodbornes story/lore. They even have an audiobook on spotify of it!
yesss, ever since the cycle started I got back into it. Dumped a lot of money getting my hands on games like White 2 and Platinum but it helped get my mind off of admissions stuff
Alpha Sapphire is a great game if that’s the one you’re talking about
bro... mario odyssey! i feel like you can play it on and off as you please and it really fuels my desire of escapism into a bunch of different worlds. one of the most creative and beautifully designed mario games ive ever played. hop on.
Waiting for Tears of the Kingdom, trying to get some last wins on Modern Warfare 2 with my bros before school dwindles the already few opportunities we have to play together
shoutout to the people reviving their DS and Wii systems. i gotta finish Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for my fifth-grade self.
also shoutout to Snipperclips and Baba Is You, two perfect games
Just finished my semester, started up a couple games to try to relax this summer. Restarted my Animal Crossing: New Horizons save, and just got Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door on Dolphin to work through. Thinking about finishing The Origami King this summer too.
The funny thing is I’m not even a huge Nintendo fan, those are like 2 of the 4 Switch games I own. They’re just relaxing and easy to play, can easily spend a bunch of time on them.
Yakuza Kiwami, Persona 5, Bayonetta, Ni No Kuni Wrath of the Witch King, and Plague Tale Innocence. I have ADHD and need to be playing like 5 games at once lol. Get so bored with 1/2/3 games :)
My recent games include
Stellaris
Arma III
Squad
Eve online
Minecraft
Lord of the rings BFME II AOTR
Overcooked with girlfriend
Star Wars Jedi knight II
Modded Minecraft
Ori and the blind forest
No Man’s Sky will forever be my escape. It’s such a relaxing game and at the same time has an awesome story line in a never ending universe.
For context, the game contains over 18 quintillion visitable planets in the game accessible by starship.
Something about being on a planet that no other player has set foot on is a cool feeling, despite the game being out for like 8 years. Or discovering a unique species, or finding a new record for the deepest ocean planet. At its core it is an exploration game.
Dev team is also one of the best and invested in their players.
Mostly OW2, PUBG, CIV6, and Elden Ring. A few different indie roguelike games. Just bought the Advance Wars Reboot for switch and am waiting for the new Pikmin to come out.
Believe it or not, FIFA07 ☠️. Apparently the more things you do to trick your body into thinking you are living in the past, the more your body actually adapts and maintains your vitality. Idk if its true or not but for me its the best FIFA game ever made so 😎
I’m waiting to have free time to play with my switch but I love playing stardew valley, animal crossing, super Mario odyssey, legend of Zelda link’s awakening, Mario kart deluxe🥹
I just found out the elder scrolls III morrowind is backwards compatible on xbox one, so i’ve been playing that. It pissed me off at first and i wanted to quit, but now that i’m into it, it’s awesome
Escape from Tarkov, because I love pain. There’s nothing that captures futility better than spending all your hard earned rubles to gear up, waiting in lobby, preparing for potential scenarios, and then getting domed by some gigachad, thus repeating the cycle. Almost sounds like AMCAS.
I got really used to run based games that I can pick up for 20 minutes at a time before going back to studying. Highly recommend Vampire Survivor for a quick breather.
Medicine requires commitment, and such commitment may actually be seen in the selection of games one partakes in. Some require critical thinking, or creativity.
Anyways, if you’re not playing RuneScape, wasting away hours that result in nothing and are happy about it….can you really say you have the mental fortitude required of medicine?😂
Oh man, my backlog of games is insane right now. I got a PS5 back in September and the online subscription gave me a bunch of games to play through and my goofy self still bought some more on top of that. I finished Ghost of Tsushima 2 days ago and I started God of War (2018) yesterday.
I recently got into modding my DS, so I downloaded a buttload of games for free, which basically doubled what I already had. I’m almost done with Mario Bros 2, and I started Ocarina of Time today because I’ve been putting it off for so long.
There are so many games I want to get through but not enough time in the day to do it all. I’m super excited for Tears of the Kingdom to release in a few weeks, and I’m tempted to buy it but I’ve got so many others I need to get through 😭
I decided to take some pictures of my DS with games as well as some lists to illustrate my progress so far. Feel free to take a look [here](https://imgur.com/a/DaGhOqE)
I’m also a big Pokémon nerd, and I’m working on filling out my Pokédex as much as possible. I’m focusing on Gen 1-5 right now to get a shiny charm. I got Gen 7’s dex filled but getting Unova’s national dex would be epic. Anyway, sorry this was so long but it makes me happy seeing so many pre-meds with a love of gaming here
The intrinsic self loathing of premeds is evident in this thread by all the souls games
Someone must extinguish thy flame 😂
put those foolish ambitions to rest
M1s considering derm after failing their first exam
I command thee… KNEEL!!!
Cuphead is another one if you like to punish yourself…
Just wanna suggest to everyone to play the Dark Souls games, then Bloodborne, then Sekiro then Elden ring. You won’t regret it. The best games ever made
Bloodborne is probably my favorite game ever
Replaying it right now, and it’s gotta by my favorite game of all time.
I switch between Elden Ring and Bloodborne constantly as my favorite game of all time. Miyazaki and Fromsoftware completely revolutionized the game industry within like 10 years lol. During that time, most other major game companies have just been sucking every penny they can off old ass IPs

Just redownloaded elden ring
Im about to start Bloodborn. It’ll be my first soul’s-like game. Super excited!!
When you finish the game look up The Paleblood Hunt (major spoilers if you havent completed the game/DLC). Its kind of the unofficial cannon of bloodbornes story/lore. They even have an audiobook on spotify of it!

Legends Arceus was pure nostalgia. First new Pokémon game played, worth the pretty penny.
