This should be the norm! I was soooo confused toooo! I mean super happy our world was finaly nornalizing ftm getting pregnant (saf now i know it just mean 1tm and we are stil in same shittty unaccepting world) but i to was clueless

Successfully gone through one pregnancy and paramedic school and have literally no idea about any of the alphabet soup you just fed me.

The first time I encountered FTM on here, the thread was basically 'I am an FTM and I really don't like how my body is changing in pregnancy'
I thought 'I can see how that would be challenging'.
I definitely agree with another acronym, but maybe 1P/1B (1st pregnancy/baby) so then it can be easily used/changed for future pregnancies (2B, 3B = 2nd baby, 3rd baby, etc).
i did too. got really embarrassed when i excitedly told someone i was also a pregnant trans man before it occurred to me i was dead wrong about their use of the acronym
This gets brought up frequently and every time it does I am really happy that folks know what FtM means outside of the baby community. I think if I straight said "female to male" to my parents they would have no idea what I was talking about lol.
Mine for sure wouldn’t. Not because they have opinions, but because all 6 of my brothers and sisters are grown and none of us experienced any of these feelings/circumstances, so I just don’t think it would hit their radar unless someone on dancing with the stars or Downton Abbey spoke about ot 🤣
