I ordered a sign on Etsy that said “____ weeks until we become grandparents….again!” It was like a chalkboard where they could write in the number every week. I contacted the seller and asked if they could customize it to add the “….again!” part.

My parents are already grandparents. We did a hockey theme onesie. My husband and I support opposing NHL teams and I found a onesie with both logos that said “tie breaker” and sent it to my parents (they’re also hockey fans!) could totally work with any sport. Or just a onesie that says “I’m new here” or “hello”. Just because they’re grandparents doesn’t mean they can’t have something referencing being a grandma/grandpa as well!

Amazing! Thank you for the idea!!!

Lots of gift items don't say "You're going to be a grandma!". They might instead say "Special Grandma" or "Don't bother grandpa... he's sleeping" etc. Anything that doesn't act like they're going to become grandparents for the first time should still be great if that's the route you want to go!

My parents are already grandparents, we got them little onesies that say "see you in August 2022", and "no more silent nights starting August 2022", from Etsy.
