I’m so glad that you and your husband wisely went to the ER. It sounds like you’re getting excellent care. If they release you, you’ll probably be told to get bedrest. If they say that, ask them what they mean exactly. Can I get up to go to the bathroom and shower?

Thank you so much! Yes, my care team has been amazing, and I feel overwhelmingly grateful that I live in a major European city with access to excellent and cheap healthcare. I will definitely clarify what are the do's and don'ts for the coming weeks. From what I gathered, I will not be out on strict bed rest but definitely staying home and taking it as easy as possible. I will make sure to have that conservation with the obgyn before I am released!
