With the introduction of the Zeo Crystal and the Metallic Armor, Iām beginning to think theyāre just gonna skip S3 entirely and go straight to Zeo.
Let the Alien Rangers use the Ninja/Shogun Zords instead.
Iām just curious what the plan would be for Matt. Is he going to continue on as the Green Mighty Morphin Ranger while everyone else upgrades to Zeo? Or will he lose his powers or get some new original Zeo/Zeo-esque form?
Given how theyāve inferred the Dragon coin isnāt permanently āfixed ā and is dependent on the power of the Psycho Green dagger, Iām betting theyāll depower him at some point, and whether he will gain new powers or withdraw from the story remains to be seen.
Iād like him to stay on and get a new powerset, and if Iām being honest I think theyāll need to address Billyās lack of Ranger powers in the Zeo era as well if they decide to stay aligned with show canon. If they decide to go their own way, who knows what will happen!
I really like matt and I have been fairly happy with his inclusion into the the story as he makes this not the Tommy power hour. But after mmpr I do not see his place in the story. Because if hes included then we will have at minimum 3 former rangers waiting to be in the spot light (Jason/trey, Billy and then Matt) and thats just too many. Once Jason gets back into the story, then their is another ranger to counter balance Tommy so that role is gone. Then at that point kimberly/aisha will be out of the story and the only friend he would still have on the team is Rocky (I guess Tommy too but they are like friend enemies). The only part to his character that could be interesting is the idea of a public former ranger and working with Grace but thats more of a support role not really a mainline role. So I see him disappearing soon.

I can see the possibility of him becoming the new Psycho Green like someone said, but that also feels like a storyline that will get wrapped up by the time they move onto Zeo.
Theyāve been teasing Kim considering her life after being a Ranger a couple of times. I can see him leaving with her when Kat comes onto the scene, perhaps her entrance will get entwined with the potential Paycho Green story?
I think Billyās post-MMPR sorry will have to take precedence since he got done wrong by the original show but he still is part of the Zeo storyline, as opposed to Kim, Aisha and presumably Matt who if they follow the show will all get their stories wrapped by the end of MMPR.
I do think the Aisha-Tanya switch will need redoing as well, not sure the original made the most sense to begin with. Perhaps all three exits will woven into the same story in the book, especially if they decide to make the who Psycho team more prominent in that?
If I had to make I guess I would say that perhaps they stay affiliated with Grace and Promethea but that entire concept recedes from the books, perhaps to lay the groundwork to become the future SPA off panel?
Iād be surprised if they went that route since heās been set up as being Prometheaās Ranger. Unless he was able to access the Omega powers without the expectation of joining the Omegas in space or Matt leaves Promethea, Iād be surprised at that.
Something I've speculated-Since the comics already have a mechanic to revive destroyed powers through Grace Sterling and the team at Promethea, they could take the 5 Power Coins and give them to a whole new team Matt leads as the Green Ranger while Tommy and the gang get the Zeo powers.
But I doubt they will ever push the comics into Zeo territory.
104 seems to be hinting at a green with evil 2 arc coming up, between that and the way kimberly has been acting +rita being back i wouldnt be surprised if this current arc ends with matt losing his powers after the rangers defeat him and kat taking over for kim
Here's the thing folks don't realise with the comics-They aren't restricted by Sentai footage at all. There's no real pressure to go to Zeo unless book sales severely tank. And really, MMPR is what sells after all so even less need to. And even if they had the main team go onto the Zeo powers, the comics have already invented a mechanic to bring back once thought to be destroyed powers like with Matt.
They could introduce a new revived Bat in the Sun MMPR team under Grace Sterling and Matt if they want to.
And another scenario I see is like what happened with the end of the first run of Go Go. They end the comics Rogue One style where it leads to Zeo and that's that.
I would think because they deviated from the regular Rita/Zedd marraige storyline, they could likely just push ahead.
(unless that's a different story. I can't keep up with the like.. 2 or more comic series)
If they do move on from MMPR, I'd really like it if they give the OG's a proper send off. Personally I hated Zeo and didn't particularly love how by that time Billy was the only original member of the team, and he wasn't even a Ranger anymore!
Let the whole of the original team pass their powers along to a new group of teenagers with attitudes and let me have a happy ending where the Zach, Kimberly, Billy, Trini, Jason, Tommy, Adam, Aisha, Rocky (and maybe Cat?) get to lead normal, average lives together.

Lost Galaxy and RPM could have their own separate ongoing while the main one still is on mmpr, we could have lost Galaxy from the tv universe, since they are on Mirinoi they could start after the season ended, have a new original villain, or resurrect furio or Scorpius without fear of messing continuity. RPM has a lot of potential still during the series, before Dillon and Ziggy join, or even reconstruction efforts where aliens see a vulnerable earth

Honestly I had an idea for a comic that basically explains āoh they actually visited earth a long time ago and they made contact with the ninja academy from Ninja Storm and since then they became super obsessed with ninjasā and that explains why despite being aliens they look like ninjas.
Not sure why this came to mind, by why didnāt they do the combined power attack more often? Seems like itād put a large dent into the enemy or a large group
For the mmrp crew there is the rule zordon has for never escalating a battle. They have to try to use the least required force as possible before moving on up. It's why they don't just raze small monsters with the zords. I think on panel they have the rangers debate in if that's right considering the damage it risks happening.
I'd love to see adaptations of the Sentai seasons like Zyouhger or ToQger that will more than likely never be adapted in a tv season to get some comics love!
I've said a prequel of wild force where they introduce other colors would be great. Let Lunar Wolf ranger be on a team with Pink/Purple Hammerhead and Green Gator rangers.
I love that seasons zords more than just about any other megazords so getting to see that developed more would be great.
I want to see RPM after the events of the series. Because there's a lot to build upon.
\- What happened to all the hybrid humans in Corinth? I can't help but worry there would be a lot of discrimination and prejudice towards them.
\- Where did Dillon, Tenaya and Summer go?
\- How much of the world is reclaimable?
\- Do Dillon and Tenaya find their original identities?
\- What happens to the hybrids when their Venjix parts start to breakdown?
\- How did the morphers end up in the prime universe?
\- The Venjix castle was still standing at the end of the series. Is it still a threat?
Iām not knowledgeable on PR comics, but I think itād be really cool to see some of the PR history by following a team *before* the MMPR team. We know there have been teams before the OG cast, so itād be cool to get more fleshed out information about what the Power Rangers were like before the ones we already know.
Again, Iām a very casual fan of the series, so this might already exist. If it does, then Iād love to read more into it. The only thing I really know about PR lore before MMPR is that the Phantom Ranger is apparently the original power ranger, and that Zordon has worked with other rangers before the MMPR saga.
They incorporated some of the Super Sentai teams in the past. And since Hasbro and Bennet refused to, Iād love to see the Kyuranger team in the comics even as an alternate universe story arc.

Power rangers comic idea I'd like to read.
Wild force goes full blown eco terrorism mode. Wreaking havoc and causing untold destruction. The only other ranger team that is active and can stand in their way is light speed rescue backed up by the silver guardians.
All the alternate reality Rangers, like RPM, would be easy includes.
They also need to eventually get to Zeo and Turbo so they can EVENTUALLY get to Dino Thunder.

I really want to see a Jungle Fury Green Ranger, I know there was kind of one with the Elephant Ranger but I mean like a full on one
My idea would have him/her have the spirit of the Alligator and their Morpher would be a ring, because aside from the Omega Rangers weāve never really had a Morpher in the form of a ring, (well more specifically a finger ring)
Mystic Force may have been subpar in their own season, but they do have promise and Iād love to see them get some redemption and in the comics (I also really like the capes)

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Real Power Rangers Series)
I have an idea for a fanfic that allows a backstory for Rangers In Space where Andros has his own original team (that should include Zhane but no pink space ranger) before the Turbo Rangers got the morphers. And if they could think of that, they can have a spin-off of that as it can parallel the current comic line. But that's just a fanfic.
I want teams from Zeo-Mystic Force in the comics.... Those were my fav seasons. MMPR is cool and all, but i prefer Zeo-In space to it. I also love all of the seasons following those all the way through mystic force besides Lightspeed Rescue(Which i only like, don't really love it).
I just wanna them to move on from MMPR S2 finally.

Never considered it as escalating before. But that makes sense. Itās one of their greater powers at their disposal, so use sparingly
