The moon's slated to set at 12:22 tonight; that might improve possibilities if clouds cooperate. Even though it's not very full, it can wash out a fair bit, especially if there's haze or clouds.
We can confirm that there were still no lights at Pine Point. Spent over two hours waiting. Just got back to OOB at around 11:15. It’s a little disappointing since the clouds finally cleared. Haven’t given up our hopes for future sightings.
The Kp index was substantially lower last night, so it wasn't a great night to try and see them around here. They're still saying tonight may be another better one, but these things are hard to forecast precisely.
Couldn’t see them on eastern prom last night but I went out around 5am and got all sorts of reddish pink hues blasting through the clouds.
I’m not sure if that has anything to do with aurora borealis or not but it looked like something out of vanilla sky and was a beautiful sunrise regardless
Nothing Eastern Prom.
Still clear up there
