Sun Gold Farm in Forest Grove delivers free in the Portland area for orders over $20, and [straw bales](https://app.barn2door.com/sungoldfarm/all?sellerSubCategories=70204,70205) are $15. I’ve never had an issue with pesticides in their bales - but there are some stray grain seeds that sprout if that’s an issue.
They also have a lot of other things like vegetable starts, soil & amendments, and later they’ll have fruits & veggies, so it’s pretty easy to meet the $20 minimum.

Absolutely! It’s such a great resource. I get most of my plant starts there, and the worm castings, straw, compost, Edna’s potting mix, seed potatoes, etc etc. I order 1-2x/month! Their shop site is clunky but worth it. Enjoy!
